NASA, you said you have a rate-of rise heat detector in your kitchen? I don't think that'd work at my house because we have a gas oven, and it throws off a lot of heat quickly. We'd get too many nuisance alarms.
@sfs2040 We have a gas range as well, and it does not increase the temperature of the room fast enough, nor does it make the temperature reach 135 degrees.
This is the reason my friend why my house doesn't have a detector of any kind in the kitchen, especially since all the detectors are wired together in my house.

Thumbs up if you wish Fire Lite didn't discontinue making BG-10 pull stations.

@NewAgeServerAlarm Weird. Because in the last real fire alarm video, it went off at least 6 times.

@EclipseOfMusicDJ It was a Ademco Vista-10 security panel case a friend gave me. I repainted it and cut the hole.

@NewAgeServerAlarm
Really? Ok. Doesn't matter, because we don't have a fire alarm system, and I wouldn't know how to wire one up anyway.

@techhelper1 We don't have a detector in the kitchen... the smoke particles were strong enough to trip the one in the hallway.
