...not to disrespect your opinion or anything, but graphics don't make a better game. The DS has a fairly large library of good games, as does the PSP. I personally think they're both good handhelds. They both have their pros and cons but I think they're both good in different ways.

And I looked at some titles coming out for the DS most looked like shovelware. The 3DS looks okay it finally added a analog stick which the psp already. I hope the RE game on 3DS is actually good.

I have both PSP and NDS. I strongly reccomend PSP. I don't understand people that keep saying that gameplay is more important than graphics, beacause both are the same important. What would Crysis be like, if it was like a flash game? On the other hand what would Call Of Duty be if that was just a long 5 hour cutscene with extremaly detailed area (I'd like to see that! OK for 2008 alone the DS had 191 games with a rating over 7.0. The PSP had 178. And the DS had 47 9.0 or higher rated games.

You obviously know nothing about hardware. Having more RAM won't increase a system's graphics. It will make things load faster. The DS has a 66MHz CPU and the PSP has a 333MHz CPU and dedicates 166MHz to the GPU (graphics more than 2x the total processing power of the DS), which actually makes a difference in graphics. The PSP has Skype capabilities on the PSP 3000 as well as a mic and enhanced LCD reducing glare and giving a better picture.

No you are the retard RAM, means Random Access Memory. The virtual memory is what helps things load faster and it also increase the amount memory that a system can use per cycle. RAM does not run everything. The two most important parts to any system is the Processor (CPU) and the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). The CPU for the PSP is 5x more powerful than the DS. The GPU (the most important for games) on the PSP runs at 166MHz while the DS on runs 33MHz (also 5x better).
Also, the GPU uses video RAM (VRAM) mainly. The PSP uses 2MB of VRAM and if it goes over it can borrow from a the 32MB of on board RAM. The DS only 656KB (.656MB) of VRAM. The PSP runs games with much better graphics than the DS and it never exceeds the 2MB. Like I said having more RAM makes things load faster. Nothing more.

I like both systems, and PSP really is the better one technologically, and though it's kind of fair to compare games that are on both systems, that hardly does it justice, for what makes the systems so unique are the games.

The PSP has great graphics and can play music, lets you go on the internet etc... but gameplay is what lets it down. And can't you just play music and go on the internet from you computer and MP3 player? The DS graphics are still good, but not quite as good. The games for the DS are slightly more fun, also the DS is more compact and lighter.
i own a PSP and use it more than just a games console yet a DS may not be up to the standards of PSP graphics your forgetting the games such as pokemon,final fantasy's and more so all in all there both great handhelds

And I looked at some titles coming out for the DS most looked like shovelware. The 3DS looks okay it finally added a analog stick which the psp already. I hope the RE game on 3DS is actually good.

I have both PSP and NDS. I strongly reccomend PSP. I don't understand people that keep saying that gameplay is more important than graphics, beacause both are the same important. What would Crysis be like, if it was like a flash game? On the other hand what would Call Of Duty be if that was just a long 5 hour cutscene with extremaly detailed area (I'd like to see that! Now just wait 30 years)? Anyway PSP is way better for ME!! Some people might like NDS beacause of touch pad.

I just have one thing to say.
Custom Firmware. It makes the PSP own every other portable gaming console out there, as this nifty little thing, makes the PSP not only run PSP games, but GameBoy games, PSX games, Nintendo64 games, Nintendo DS games, some older PC games (Like Quake and Quake 2). And not only that, but it also allows you to install an new OS on it, such as Windows95, Windows98, or Linux, something which turns the PSP into a small, portable PC.

OK for 2008 alone the DS had 191 games with a rating over 7.0. The PSP had 178. And the DS had 47 9.0 or higher rated games.
The PSP had 14. There's a big difference there. And you named games that aren't even out yet. Not to mention over half of them DIDN'T get a 9.0 rating or higher.

You obviously know nothing about hardware. Having more RAM won't increase a system's graphics. It will make things load faster. The DS has a 66MHz CPU and the PSP has a 333MHz CPU and dedicates 166MHz to the GPU (graphics more than 2x the total processing power of the DS), which actually makes a difference in graphics. The PSP has Skype capabilities on the PSP 3000 as well as a mic and enhanced LCD reducing glare and giving a better picture.

No you are the retard RAM, means Random Access Memory. The virtual memory is what helps things load faster and it also increase the amount memory that a system can use per cycle. RAM does not run everything. The two most important parts to any system is the Processor (CPU) and the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). The CPU for the PSP is 5x more powerful than the DS. The GPU (the most important for games) on the PSP runs at 166MHz while the DS on runs 33MHz (also 5x better).

Also, the GPU uses video RAM (VRAM) mainly. The PSP uses 2MB of VRAM and if it goes over it can borrow from a the 32MB of on board RAM. The DS only 656KB (.656MB) of VRAM. The PSP runs games with much better graphics than the DS and it never exceeds the 2MB. Like I said having more RAM makes things load faster. Nothing more.

I like both systems, and PSP really is the better one technologically, and though it's kind of fair to compare games that are on both systems, that hardly does it justice, for what makes the systems so unique are the games.

And can't you just play music and go on the internet from you computer and MP3 player? The DS graphics are still good, but not quite as good. The games for the DS are slightly more fun, also the DS is more compact and lighter.

If the Sentra has a much better view in the public (reviews in this case), features are much more liked (games in this case), and is known not to have as many breakdowns as the other 2 (lack of RRoD and overheating in this case), then YES, it DOES mean it is better.

Psp has better gameplay, all info on one screen.
With ds you have to look at 2 diffrent screens.
Also PSP has better graphics.

Actually few DS games split the information
and when they do, it actually helps since you can look at examples and stuff on two different screens, instead of bunching them up on one
and...okay, better graphics, that and some add-ons is pretty much all it has over DS, and DS has way better gameplay, since it can do more, has more games, more support, graphics dont influence it much

I perfer a PSP over a PS2 and a DS over a Wii cause portable. No mean to be offensive I like the PSP the best. (Thats just my opinion)

I'm tired of listening of this bullshit from psp owners. so next time I get an email about what you guys are saying, I'm deleting it. so I would like to say some final words,
1) psp lovers and DS lovers think their console is better. but the opposing console group may be the ones missing out, or the other console group.
2)I actually prefer the Wii over the DS
