@otlotl009 The 3 o'clock subdial is the Chronograph Minutes dial. It shows the elapsed minutes when using the Chronograph function.

My brother was nice enough to buy me a nice watch I later returned it I found the thing too heavy large watches catch on things tend to damage or get damaged. I perfer the smaller watch like the thin seiko as a dress watch but when it comes to my everyday watch the casio databank 350 because of the 5 active alarms you can set dont hurt to have a calculator or stop watch or a count down timer, Never use the data portion of the watch just not practical for me but those other functions are king.

Sorry for my ignorance, but is this a genuine Breitling? I thought Navitimers are big watches. This one looks about 40-43mm in diameter.

Breitling even makes the Navitimer in a 38mm version (it is one of the Montbrilliant Models) They all look slightly different. For example. Unlike this one, the 38mm Navitimer has no Breitling "Wing" logo on the dial, and no date between 4 and 5.

I like the way the second hand moves along the watch: in a smooth-motion, none of this "tick-tock" nonsense. What type of movement is this? I would like cheaper watch for now which moves like that. Id rather settle for a PaoFun china SUndial than a Brietling "replica". Does such a watch or movement exist?

@ImaYam Search for Seiko Automatic - they are affordable. The movement is an automatic or mechanical movement, as opposed to a quartz movement.

Nope, Valjoux 7750 has the date at 3, hours at 6, seconds at 9 and mins at 12. Breitling use ETA movements but don't know which for this one. They are then modified if not mistaken to reach COSC specs.

My Navitimer has the cal 13 movement. It's a 12,9,6 movement. I like it better because of the quick date. The 3,6,9 is very nice as well though.

the weight of the rotor makes it feel like the watch is wobbling.

Hi. I have the exact same watch. Had it for 2 years now. It has been extremely accurate for an automatic. I use the slide rule alot. Especially in the cockpit. It never gets loose. This thing is super dependable.
