I am just like you Tonygreen . After much much research and many many many video's I am getting the F2.. The garrett 350 has a DD coil if you can go an extra 80$.. Im going with the F2 for $190 and will get a DD coil for it later on.. I dont think the 250 takes a DD coil but not sure ... GL
@TonyGreens99 I love the F2, the more I use it the more confident I become in identifying targets, but you could say that about any machine.
I've never used the 250 so I really can't say to much about it, though I've got a buddy who recently got a 250 and he commented that the info it gives is to basic. The 250 appears to only indicate what type of metal it may be, whereas the F2 does that, plus it gives you a number range to go by, the number range is all I use on the F2.
@xaalaax Cheers mate, think I got lucky. Cheers for subbing to, been watching your vids for ages, way before I even contemplated getting a metal detector.
@Kramer3279 Sounds like an awesome spot, I haven't really found a spot that turns up huge amounts of older coins, the places I think would be good are very busy and exposed, haven't got up the courage to hunt them yet.
Must be a trip pretty much knowing the tokens history, who issued it and where it came from, just checking it out on australianstamp as well, nice looking token.
@Kramer3279 It was quite a surprise when I found the tokens, had no idea what they were. Though they're only milk tokens they turned me onto traders tokens which would be a dream to find.
@Vince1648 Yea I'm loving the F2, though whenever I can afford it I'll be looking for a machine that IDs better. Got the million dollar view without the million dollar price tag, the house was 80k.
Great video of your finds. I recently acquired an f2 and am really enjoying it. Happy hunting mate!

just think what they would be finding in about 200 years. Old ipods, nintendos, gameboys, psp, and android phones.

Man, those half crowns are beautiful coins. I have one I got on eBay. Next you'll be digging whole silver crowns!
