  • Thanks! Really helped me understand how this works

  • What a cool video and must been neat to see them up close and how they do it. I enjoy the jets and all their services. At the end, the pilot saluted and pulled away.

  • I'd love to look up and see this...

  • It looks like very easy to connect with each other.

  • @sarancha1

But your only saying that it LOOKS easy, not IS easy...right?

  • got skillz?

  • is that a window or is what hes looking out of actually just an open hole

  • @infernodood3 I wondering the same thing haha...

  • @infernodood3 Window: Look carefully at 1:46 (you can see dirt on the window in the center, its whitish)

If it was an openhole, it would rip the plane open. Traveling at such a velocity dictates a massive amount of force, which would be enough to tear the plane up. Thats exactly what happened a long time ago to a Boeing 767 or 777 (not sure). There was a very tiny hole that needed to be patched up, and since it wasnt, when the plane took off, it ripped the plane apart.

  • wooow beautiful

  • beautiful ..many thanks

  • very nice video. under what circumstances will they allow you to ride along in military aircraft? I am not involved in anything special that they would take people up in the air for such as journalism, but I do record audio for video games, movies etc. Maybe arrangements can be made for this type of work as well? I guess I would have to talk to a military public affairs officer about this

  • @daveofdefeat He's either an actual Boom Operator, Journalist and often times U.S.A.F Personell get chances to ride along in differant planes during Raffles for events such as an airshow for example.

  • @daveofdefeat Twice a year the Washington Air National Guard offers community leaders an opportunity to see their operations, including this flight. I run a non-profit organization in Seattle, so I was invited to attend.
