@rinaldo795: 45 degree right tilt, cameraport anterior axillary line, left hand, right hand and right lateral assistant 10 mm ports at place of convenience
@ sherriehamilton, you are partly right, of course the lenghth of the incisions are subjectively always too large, however an open approach would have probably left you with a 15-20 cm incision and a much longer recovery period...

@leytensj : I realize that fact, and I am in no way complaining. I am thankful to Dr. Gogel, Oncologist Specialist in Dallas, Texas. Medical City Dallas, Truly, Saved My Life. =)
I Just had my right adrenal gland removed. I have to wear two hormone patches and apply a different hormone daily in gel form. Other than that, No Meds and I feel Great! It has only been a week, but don't be fooled by the minimal invasive "laproscopic" My incisions are very big and there are 4 of them. Wouldn't be much different had they made one large incision. It doesn't matter I am WELL and THankful to have the 5 cm Tumor out that ate my adrenal gland!
@Ayeayecherrypie Congrats! I am glad you are home and I wish you the most speedy recovery! You are going to be sore for a minute! But! That too will pass! Have a Great Day and Don't Push It! You will be 100% before you know it! =)
@Ayeayecherrypie : Hello =), I just wanted to check on you and your recovery. I hope you are having an easy time with this. I was wondering, does your back feel like you have had a back injury? This is the only problem I seem to have from the surgery. I only relate this to the surgery because I Never had a back issue before this surgery. I would love to hear from others about this subject.
ziet er erg interessant uit, maar eerlijk gezegd kan ik er geen touw aan vast knopen wat je allemaal aan het doen bent. Mag je me wel eens een keertje uitleggen....

corticosteroid may be given after that surgery.

No, Elvis fan , there's no need for medications after the surgery. There is still a whole other gland that will cover that.

do you have to take medication after the adrenal gland is removed. If so what medicines and why.
