I thought Ron Paul was the best candidate too, but although when I first saw Michelle Obama I thought, "oh no..", as I've looked more, I see more I approve of. I think she's more "crusty" than a hater. I've seen the happy, relaxed way Michelle is with Barack(vs. the major tension I see between Cindy McCain and her husband), and there have been other videos of Michelle in groups of women and with children that I think really show a capable, friendly and responsible character.

Obama had already been in office as a US Senator so it was quite clear where his politics was and still is.
Obama is doing very little to change most of Bush policies in Iraq, Afghanistan, Middle East, Corporate bailouts, etc.
On the other hand if/when Daniel Sunjata runs for office (and we KNOW actors have done that successfully) he'd probably make a good proactive elected official.

The people who help the candidate often do help year round. There are over 200 Green Party elected officials including several mayors.
Many 3rd party voters are electing 3rd party candidates in local elections, getting ballot access in many states (over 20 so far for the Green Party) and were trying for 5% federally.

Voting for 3rd party candidates creates LEGAL ballot access for 3rd parties. Like most Americans, you don't know your own state and national election laws.
Both McCain and Obama are owned by military contractors and Obama is just shifting resources and contracts to another corporate clientele base. There's not much "lesser" to the evils. Just different strategies for different corporate sponsors.

The problem is that effecting systemic change would be a heck of a lot more difficult and it will be much less likely to be ABLE to save ourselves from anything . . .

Don't buy into the media manipulation. For decades the media has been saying the same thing from Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, yet things continued to get worse under Carter and Clinton and each time a Democrat was elected "they" blamed the Republicans. The Democrats and parts of the media's ability to continue this is almost Orwellian.
Daniel Sunjata's analysis of Obama is sound complete with "names" of the policy makers.
Al it takes is 5% to start REAL Change.

How is allowing McCain to win real change? I don't need the media to tell me how the electoral college works. If the Green Party ever began winning states in the Presidential race, the Republican Party would control the White House until the inevitable nuclear armageddon took place or economic depression, whichever came first.

Good vid -I was caught up in the Obama wave for a while until I started to listen very carefully and this vid says what I found out. Really I can only vote for Cynthia. She is in 5th place right now with 1% and I don't see her getting much higher up but I have to vote my concience. Vote straight Green! NO Oil From the Soil! Out of the middle east!!

There's going to be an election and there can only be one President elected. If you're not voting for Obama you ARE VOTING for McCain.

But that is the problem in spades. Everyone is afraid to vote for 'real change' because they are afraid they are throwing away their vote. It has been done before we have changed parties many times over the past two centuries. But people have to be upset enough with what we are getting from these two parties and if the war and economy is not enough to get people to change then the end is near and it doesn't matter anyway.

You see, from the 1880's to 1950 most of Africa was owned by European nations. The dozens that gain independence though the 50's-60's have been lead to ruin. They need the infrastructure back but don't trust the white man. Enter Obama... Am I the only one who sees this play on global conquest?

The horrible status quo, *but* Obama has also said no one suffers like the Palestinians, at least acknowledging the issues, Obama's campaign staff hadn't taken around $750,000 from the Georgians, and then gotten fulsomely endorsed by Saakashvili, and in terms of sending a message to the rest of the world--they can either see that Americans voted for "more wars, less jobs" McCain, or "I was against the war" Obama.
A vote for Obama is a vote for peace-WHETHER HE DOES IT OR NOT.

We act from our personalities, not just rationally. McCain abuses women, PERIOD. That's one thing I've never even heard Fox trying to pin on Obama.
Our presidents have actually been TAPED and transcribed talking about whose dick is larger when they are considering conflicts with foreign powers. I'd rather have Obama making those decisions than squat little McCain! Obama is taking alot of "expert advice" in his bad foreign policy. I'd think he would be more likely to evolve than McCain.

Messages about what she would do, and the details of the problem the proposed policy would solve, and strategies for folks to help their candidate get their policy enacted? Would you also be willing to give equal time to criticizing ALL the other candidates, including McCain?

I thought Ron Paul was the best candidate too, but although when I first saw Michelle Obama I thought, "oh no..", as I've looked more, I see more I approve of. I think she's more "crusty" than a hater. I've seen the happy, relaxed way Michelle is with Barack(vs. the major tension I see between Cindy McCain and her husband), and there have been other videos of Michelle in groups of women and with children that I think really show a capable, friendly and responsible character.
