It makes me wonder if there was ever a time when Silent Hill wasn't somebody's nightmare. It never appears to function normally except in Silent Hill 4 when you are looking at the outside world from your room in another dimension.Otherwise Silent Hill is always an abandoned, haunting place in a mental "Jacob's Ladder" sort of way. They should put up a sign in front of Silent Hill "Flashlight, Radio, and Melee weapon required beyond this point."

4 takes place in the town of Ashfield Hieghts and 5 takes palce in Shepard's Glen. Silent hill is a normal town to those who are not "guilty" like Laura in SH2. Both of the other towns have SH connections though.

SH6 would be about some guy working in the power plant of Shepherds Glenn and Silent Hill wich propably be in the woods nearby SH ( where also the cult was > SH 4 ).
