Nothing to do with Poland or anything like that, but the doctrine of religion in general, theChristian churches in particular, is impossibly backward. The Bible was written BEFORE any scientific acheivements set in; in fact, science was practically unknown for centuries.

When I say "backward" I don't mean being 50 years behind, but rather at least 300 years. It was only in recent years that the Vatican pardoned Galileo, and he died in 1642. Imagine wating centuries for other things...
