So many years in Miss Universe, Miss USA makes the cut because of the sash factor. But in 2004 WOW! Shandi is one of my all time favs along with Julie Hayek 1983. Shandi was honestly a Miss USA that I believe was that "one" that I have been waiting for, for years. She could compete with the Venezuelas, Indias, etc. even if she did not have that "USA" sash.
