  • @xXGarionXx No. Britain is Scotland England and Wales. With Northern Ireland they make up the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The British Isles is a purely geographical term which includes all of the islands of the UK and Eire too.

    Simple really.

  • @Tumsh And also Great Britain is so called becuse it is the largest island in the British isles nothing to do with it being "great"

  • Tribute to Madonna <3

  • My name is Jimmy. And I'm a Jimmy Jimmy.

  • WHATEVER YOUR CULTURE-WHATEVER YOUR CREED....THIS IS MUSIC/LIFE INDEED

  • its a song, not about hereditary soverignty, you tit.

  • @peterzed12 Yeah, but somebody asked so I clarified!

I know it's a song and yes you're right, music crosses all boundaries.

  • Quick Geography lesson:

    GB: England, Wales & Scotland.

    UK: GB + Northern Ireland

British Isles: UK+ Rep. of Ireland.

    Everyone clear? Good.

  • Quick Geog lesson:

    GB: England, Wales & Scotland.

    UK: GB + Northern Ireland

British Isles: UK+ Rep. of Ireland.

    Everyone clear? Good.

  • jimbo jimbo.

  • My oh my... the Britains brought up some really exciting and overwhelming bands...and here is another one. Wow, they're great!

  • @xXGarionXx

You're right with the exiting bands ... but these guys aren't from Britain but from Northern Ireland.

  • @HalkUntier Northern Ireland is (rightly or wrongly) part of Britain you fuckin numskull.

  • @Malc2169 Northern ireland is part of UK NOT Britain YOU FUCKING TWAT BRITAIN IS AN ISLAND!!! LEARN YOUR SHIT BEFORE YOU INSULT PEOPLE DUMBASS!!! HAHAHA!!!

  • @HalkUntier

So far I know, Britain is:

    - Scotland

    - Ireland

    - Northern Ireland

    - England

    :-P

  • @xXGarionXx ouch

  • @xXGarionXx nrthern ireland is british ,Republic of Ireland is separate

  • @xXGarionXx

how the fuck is ireland british they rejected britain in the war in the 20's they battered the brits out of the 26 and the six counties where the path to be reunited is well and truely underway.

unionist will walk into a united ireland one way or the other as they have no national identity they are not english/scotish/irish even the NORN IRON flag is illegitamite

  • @celticsean1916

Right, right, right. Seems like I made a fault. I always thought that Ireland is also british like spain is european. I always thought, the UK is England, Wales and Northern Ireland and the whole (including Ireland) is Great Britain. But it seem that I was wrong. Sorry for this. I know that Ireland has nothing in common with England but I thought that "Great Britain" is a definition for everything (including Ireland). So, my fault ;)

  • One of the best albums of all time....still have mine.

  • i love the undertones they are the best!

  • I would pay three times as much to see them with Feargal. Sorry McLoone. Sorry.

  • lead singer of the buzzcocks sounded fucking gay when he sang. The undertones are fucking gods!

  • @bennylynch13

FWIW Pete Shelley (lead singer of Buzzcocks) adopted the "Shelley" surname because, he said, that's what his parents would have called him if he'd been a girl. Not an urban legend - can't remember which book I read it in but it was one of the 'respectable' histories of the period. Anyway, make of that what you will.

& I'm sure Howard Devoto would have been in Cousin Kevin's art-school synth group given the chance.

Make of that wehatever you like.
