Colombus was a great man, he was portuguese, just like Cabrilho. We are proud of them! Please visit Portugal, the Colombu's house in the Porto Santo island and the place where his wife was buried in the Carmo Monastery in Lisbon.

Your presentation is factual. I'd always been taught that Christopher Columbus discovered America, but today at a lecture I found out that that isn't true. He discovered the Bahamas, and because his maps were so bad he thought he was in India...... hence why they are called the West Indies, and the natives of the new continent called Indians. The lecture I heard was about spices, where they come from, and the battles fought for them.
