  • soviet fils from the 70's had better quality then this

  • TITS!??!?! WHATS THIS TITS BUISNESS?!?!?!

  • I hate dumb, lying scum like this. They post part one and a few parth therafter, but they never FINISH what they started. Cursed piece of shit. Youn may as well not exist.

  • hey youtube. boobs.

  • LOL @ the faggot complaining about nudity. no one said that this movie was for kids.

  • was this movie really banned? piece of shit. and i am not going to bother with the remake. movies today suck. fuck directors these days.

  • Films like this discuss violence in a meaningful way, in our culture we've made it acceptable to think that when we are attacked we attack. That violence can be justified under certain circumstance.

You've hurt my family raped my daughter now i will kill you and it is justified. OR IS IT?

This movie shows to good people that have acted as violent as the criminals have they're child is still dead and what are they left with? im not above it, i would do the same i guess

  • i saw the whole movie already.

  • where is second part?

  • great movie w/ great tits

  • boobies=awesome

  • the rape part is disturbing

  • @blackopskillaz12345

    when is rape not disturbing?

  • @blackopskillaz12345 it really is

  • What is nice about this movie, is that Wes Craven doesn't have the poor skills of today's director's, shaking the camera, 0.7-1.3 between scenes, time-cuts, third eye perspective, too loud/too soft, cutting scenes short before the "car finishes rolling over, zooming in/panning back-n-forth--all piss-poor habits that were well known back then. This movie is easy to watch, and you don't have to work at watching it. The actors are the focal-point, not the directing.

  • oh shit i live in the last house on the left on my street

  • wheres ch 2 and 3

  • who sings the song in the begining of the movie.

  • wes...is bohemian grove nearby? i forgot my paul bunyan axe handle, babe the blue ox maching case. its baby blue.

  • thumbs up if you jack ooff to this

  • dad- no braa??

    daughter- nobody wears those anymore!

  • @leodis4me lol i know, nowadays they have pushup bras, bras with water in them ect

  • I honestly never knew this was a true story. I feel so sorry for the girl getting raped then and the other one dead...makes me feel so sad, young innocent ladies dying for no reason.

  • @talldude123 Wow thanks for spoiling it

  • @TheCrazychris46 Then watch the show through LHOTLVids channel. Nobody told you to read comments, that was your choice!

  • this was a awesome movie i would love to have a copy of the full movie

  • LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT is a tough, bitter little sleeper of a movie that's about four times as good as you'd expect. There is a moment of such sheer and unexpected terror that it beats anything in the heart-in-the-mouth line since Alan Arkin jumped out of the darkness at Audrey Hepburn in WAIT UNTIL DARK.(Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times, January 1, 1972)

  • I have seen the one with Sara Paxton se plays aqua it's weird she goes from family to things like this watch the modern one with Sara cuz she's a great actor

  • Comment removed

  • @WGBudd801 well the title of the page kind of gives that away dosent it YOU fucking TUBE

  • Anyone know who did this song playing at the begining? I can not seem to find this version of it.

  • I think ill watch this first and then watch the remake

  • Wes Craven directed Citizen Kane in 1846. It was in 3D. Texas Chainsaw was based on the life of Winston Churchill. The moon is made of recycled golf balls. So much wisdom to be found in the YouTube comments section!

  • @frankbooth64 Wow! I learned a lot today. I believe everything but, come on, the moon is not made out of golfballs dude! It's cheese. No not green cheese. What kind of a fool do you think I am?

  • I didn't know it was a remake the new one. Seemed to good to be made in this generation

  • What a stupid movie. Pretty depraved. People make money off this crap?

  • @EdMahoney19 die

  • @cwrobinson1985 You're upset I criticized this crap? You're another sick bastard, aren't you? One of those weird dudes that hangs around his bedroom and hides behind the curtain while everybody else is outside having a good time.

  • @EdMahoney19 You forgot to mention the part that on every Wednesday I visit my local butcher and buy something to dissect. Last week it was a sheep's heart. Tomorrow, some liver and then I nail it to my wall.

  • @cwrobinson1985 Gee. I should be an FBI profiler. I nailed you dead on. Just don't end up banging your thumb when you use that hammer to nail things to the wall. You don't seem too bright to being doing such meaningless things.

  • @EdMahoney19 Yeah. you should be an FBI profiler - a Fat Boring Idiot. Right Im off to skin a few kittens now....

  • @cwrobinson1985 You're just trying to get attention. Some little coward that tries ridiculously hard to be scary, but ends up hurting defenseless creatures. Then, you end up dying and going to hell for being a miserable son of a bitch. Hope you have a good supply of ice cubes when you end up in hell in a Christless eternity.

  • @EdMahoney19 What the hell are you talking about? We each die and rot., thats all there is to it. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, Ackely. So enjoy life while you can and hey, take a day off, you dont need to be a serious dick everyday of your life! Chill the hell out and stop getting so uptight and serious. Its only a fucking comment, you sad bastard...

  • @cwrobinson1985 Only a sad bastard would watch crap movies and post stupid comments.

  • @EdMahoney19 go suffocate somewhere...

  • this is classic

  • now see i truly believe that if you get rid of the rape and torture, this movie would actually make a pretty good comedy.

  • Respond to this video... this new millenium has fallen out of love with the boobies.

  • @yyorkethehumble

Yeah, but for what it's worth, I hated Avatar. I'd choose this any day.

  • If nothing else, this movie has BALLS. It goes places that a movie would be afraid to go to today, and this was decades ago. Wes Craven, I applaud you and your nasty, twisted artwork

  • @GamrDan

Do you think A Serbian Film is the closet thing to being like this movie? i refuse to see that extreme sicko trash after what i heard on some things

  • @Johnlindsey289 I have seen A Serbian Film, and believe me, you are way luckier than me for having not seen it. It's disturbing on levels I didn't know even existed.

  • @GamrDan A Serbian Film is too clean, production calue was too high, it was more silly than disturbing. Films like Cannibal Holocause were more disturbing, because you didnt have the internet back then, you couldnt google the info on wiki, all you know of the film was rumour and legend (was it real, wasnt it!), the crap quality just added to hype.

  • @GamrDan what was the serbian film called? i think i remeber seeing one like that when i was little lol, can't remember the name. help me out

  • TRUE MY ASS...THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY THAT IS REMOTELY TRUE ABOUT THIS FILM IS THAT THERE ARE SICKO'S LIKE THIS OUT IN THE WORLD..THE TRUE STORY BIT WAS PUT IN TO GET MORE PEOPLE TO WATCH THE FILM..LOL

    GOOD MOVIE THOUGH!

  • @AFRAIDOfTheDARK1 It is really based on a true story, do some reseach for yourself.

  • @skylur44

    yeah the manson murders....like hello?...LOL

  • ...Thanks for sharing this movie, I apreciate it! ;)

  • molmol

  • I love Wes Craven films!

  • 4:50 LOL "got any grass?"

  • You know what Fuck off Everyone who says this is bad

    The re-make was bad

    It was Murder

  • @TracyQartermaine Remake was not bad, its just this one was better thats all!! LMAO!! This one is more brutal thats all. LoL

  • This movie freaked me ou when I was 14.

  • And LMFAO. Her shirt.

  • Wes Craven took the risks no one else did. Unfortunately, his latest films suck ass (I question My Soul to Take's exsistence), but Last House will always be remembered as one of the frightening films of all time.

  • Bloodlust, fuck yea, they rock!

  • Okay let's see, let's give this a try since Wes Craven is one of my favourite film directors ... just watched When A Stranger Calls, feeling horror for the weekend.

  • the cheapness of the movie helps the realism

  • Oh my, I've just finished watching it. This movies is really really disturbing hence unforgettable!

  • @Jony1455 LOL too late.

  • "what's with all this tits business?" LOL. made my life

  • So her dad's a doctor, and they usually make good money, and they can't afford any full sized towels for the bathroom?

  • She feels like a woman for the first time in her life. And she's flat chested as all hell...(Chuckle)

  • @XGGX9384 I know! That's filled out? LOL

  • @XGGX9384 Maybe they were huge for people back then, lol.

  • is it a fuck movie?if its so,then its okay to me coz i only watch dick n pussy stuff.

  • I love movies who aren't afraid to put naked people on them. (:

  • i didn't know they made a remake

  • WHATS WITH ALL THIS TITS BUSINESS!!??

  • "What's this TITS business?" lmfao

  • And the remake is a crap Hollywood- waste of time.

  • Comment removed

  • @yyorkethehumble,

    It really sucked.

  • fuck all the negative comments, this is Wes Craven's first directorial flick and based on a true story. Dude had little money and worked with friends( LIke Romero on Night of the Living Dead) and this movie is a pinnacle in horror films. Very much takes the most extreme sociopath attitude and builds to a revenge scenario. Sorry, it isn't Avatar or Titanic, but it is a very good movie.

  • @yyorkethehumble thank you

  • @yyorkethehumble if anyone compares a low budget horror film from 1972 to a multi-million dollar budget film that was created with the help of computer graphics, they are an idiot. Don't waste your breath on those imbeciles. Wes Craven went on to direct one of the best horror films of all time, the original Friday the 13th. They don't know what they're talking about if they're comparing apples to oranges.

  • @yyorkethehumble not to be nosy, but this movie was actually based on a Swedish 13th century ballad called "Töres dotter i Wänge". :)

  • @termometen Interesting. I'm renting Virgin Spring.

  • @yyorkethehumble Hell yeah it's a classic and was cutting edge for '72!! You tell 'em bro!!! :):):)

  • @yyorkethehumble

As you basically say, Craven does a lot with a budget a sliver of what big directors get. He's great at atmospherics, character sketching, managing tension etc.

The soundtrack here really is a big part of the total effect

  • @yyorkethehumble It's not actually based on a true story, it's based on an old Swedish folktale and Ingmar Bergman's film "Virgin Spring." That disclaimer at the beginning of the movie is a flat-out lie. The director himself says this in the commentary.

  • @yyorkethehumble why cant you just shut up and watch the video. Why do they even allow cursing on here? Curse all people who curse! EVEN YOU!

  • @yyorkethehumble i knew this story was realistic but i didn't know it was based on a true story. screw the haters. i just watched it and i liked it.

  • @sashavice your 'No' changes nothing

  • I find it funny this got an x rating..

  • @monstermashsmb3 ooo im sorry? did u catch fealinggsssss???.... pfffft, fuck off

  • iThouqht iHad the scary one , But iHave dis one . Dis the stwpides one ( :

  • Is this video new? It looks quite old

  • So this is a true story.....

  • @iwillbd1234 No,it was loosely based of certain crimes such as the Manson murders, and I even heard that it was a remake of an old german film.

  • isnt it weird how she kisses her father on the lips but a pathetic lil hug for her mother?....

  • Mari is hot

  • LOL.. "grass". :D Its funny to hear it called that.

  • The storyline and script are good but the acting is fairly bad. :\ It was Wes Craven's first(?) film...

  • hell if you guys think this is rude of people go find a vid with of The Human Centipede trailer. They're laughing their asses off about it and that could actually happen to people in RL, Tom Six got it researched.

  • im sorry but i literally find it hard to think of the words powerful enough to accurately describe the awfulness of this film

  • OMG, i remember this film, its the worst acted, worst made, funniest exuse of a film iv ever seen. the amount of mistakes is laughable, i will never watch it again, i will never even watch the remake because of this awfully made film.

  • @HipHopHeadSeb i completely agree

  • @HipHopHeadSeb Um, that's what made indie 1970's horror films like, The Texas ChainSaw Massacre the shit!

  • @qqqTOXICqqq no films are as bad as this 1, iv seen plenty from this time

  • @HipHopHeadSeb You know what? I stand corrected. It was pretty damn horrible. I could put up with it if the script was tight. But I tried to watch this after i typed my comment. I guess it was like one of his student films with a budget for back when. A learning experience for the dir, Ha...

  • @qqqTOXICqqq hahaha init

  • @HipHopHeadSeb Try to learn some punctuation before you start ranting about nothing.

  • @HipHopHeadSeb And yet it's one of the most remebered, one of the most embraced indie films ever made. It's not exactly Citizen Kane, but I feel that it didn't want to be. It was a reflection at was going on in the world at the time.

  • @gunnare123 an extremely badly made reflection that deserves no praise what so ever

  • @HipHopHeadSeb Well, although you can discard this movie, atleast don't look down upon other Wes Craven horror films. 'Cause this was like his first movie to ever work on, i think.

  • @gunnare123 lmao, fair play i wont

  • @HipHopHeadSeb the remake is actually really strong in actors

  • This is good movie, better then the remake, but then agian all remakes suck.

  • @TheDeadhead76,

Remakes are a disgrace in creativity and filmmaking.

  • @thelupoistheman1 lol..creativity is a disgrace to science. You'll never here about a new medicine or technological advancement that was done because someone wanted to "express their 'feelings'"

  • @TheDeadhead76

What about the old school remakes like The Thing, The Fly, The Blob etc.? hokey 50's Sci-fi b-movies upgraded with better special effects and talented directors. Would you compare this to Saw or Hostel?

  • You have no rights

  • Not withstanding,The orginal was a drive in flick that pissed alot of folks off.Still does, reality check bad shit happens.Fucked up as it might be.The remake was a glossy piece of hollywood shit.Good Horror films shock you, make you think, and sometimes revolt you. After the 1970's horror films became Slasher garbage or just plan hokey. If you get offended by fiction your idiot anyway. But ask yourself this why is hollywood remaking all the 70's classic horror films?

  • I like the new movie. The old make was shit,

Rape is awful in real life. But, just like all the other horror movies, I AM allowed to enjoy a movie, even if it has a rape scene in it. I don't care if it's exploited. What do you call the porn flicks I'm sure 90% of you whack off to? What about the "Saw" movies (all...what, 800 of them)?

Rape is awful. Killing and murder is awful.

...but we have the right to enjoy a movie with it...

    Fuck off.

  • Comment removed

  • boy did the remake suck

  • i bought this off iTunes, it's pure shit... fuck you Wes Craven, fucking loser. This film isn't even worth taking up HDD space for free.

It's basically some moron (wes craven) exploiting sensationalizing the Manson Family murders and making it seem like fun. They show the girls getting ruthlessly raped and murdered, then cut to the bumbling cops/PIGS with light hearted comedy soundtrack?

the pay off is a weak, limp, clumsy climax that doesn't come close to justifying the worthless film. SHIT

  • @flarbton lolololol you wasted your money fag lololol

  • i like this movie i have made good coments on this movie ..but theres just one thing....why do wee need a movie to tell us that stuff like this gose on in the real world????...i mean u can just watch the new's or read a local news paper ..thers so much crime these days ..why do wee need a movie to tell us that??

  • this is scarier than the remake

  • I thought the movie was supposed to be scary! No! It was creepy! But when Mari's Dad killed all the bad guys with the chainsaw, I couldn't help but laughing(:

  • this movie is a remake of another film called the virgin spring from 1960.

  • @johnrunion

is the original any good? x

  • @KickBoxChick128 yes, it is great. a true classic. it is very tragic. the 1960 film itself was based upon a poem. the virgin spring really deals with the moral and ethical implications and repercussions of violence + vengeance much more deeply than last house '72. i have yet to see the 2009 last house remake.

  • @johnrunion

    Cool!!!

I just watched the 2009 remake version of last house on the left. You should check it out it's pretty good.

  • @KickBoxChick128 thanks for the recommendation. i may well do that. the entire film the virgin spring is on youtube in nine or ten chapters. thanks again.

  • @johnrunion the film the virgin spring is on the channel called:

    virginspring4u

  • @johnrunion Ahh cheers mate :D i'll watch it ;) and no worries. enjoy.xxx

  • @KickBoxChick128 best wishes. take care. :)

  • @johnrunion Thanks honey , you too(:

    xxx

  • @KickBoxChick128 you are very welcome + thank you.

  • @johnrunion Hey hun , I watched that film , i didn't think much of it , it was okay but not as good as i had invisioned. xxx

  • @KickBoxChick128 sorry you didn't like it.

  • I CAN LITERALLY DO THAT I AM SO SUPER! This movie was soooo terrible. We rented it the other day.

  • so this shyt is real?

  • @holcur what? youtube?

  • @CzechRiot wrong. the movie.obviously it's not real but they say it is

  • @holcur I was being ironic. The movie is obviously not real, but it claims to be based on a true story. What is actually not difficult, since there has been a vast amount of rape/murder cases similar to the situation in the movie.

  • @CzechRiot true.. based on true events...guess they're tryin to scare the shite outta kids but prolly failed. This movie was pretty disapointing lol.

  • God that Sandra Cassel is so damn fine! :-) She also has perfect, beautiful, gorgeous and luscious hair! :-)

  • mari estaba mas buena esa e que la actual

  • they can show tits on youtube?

  • @dahoros if there's a fair reason to it, yes.

  • this moive is so sad....

  • nice rack

  • its horrible that this is a true story ;(

  • @RosesareAllie The film Claims to be based on a true story, however in actuality it was a reworking of the short story "The Virgin Spring" by Ingmar Bergman.

  • is it just me, or is it creepy that her dad comments on her nipples and a braless-ness? oh and 'whats all this tits business' LOL!

  • Comment removed

  • I love how Wes Craven says that the dialogue in this "tits" scene with the parents influenced "All in the Family." Craven is such a smart alek.

"Last House.." is probably the first modern horror flick. There were PG rated things in the '60s that came close, but nothing approaching this level of brutality.

It's weird how Krug Stillo sings the soundtrack as well.

  • Replying to myself (gay): Anyways "Psycho" (1960) probably qualifies as the first slasher film, although practically nothing is shown even in the shower scene. We know what happens to Janet Leigh's character though, and even talking about something like that in a movie in 1960 was revolutionary. Compare "Psycho" to "the Blob," which came out 2 years earlier.

Then there were the HG Lewis films and the Coffin Joe films, which introduced gore for the first time. Then, "Rosemary's Baby" etc. etc.

  • Great music from... David Hess, who portrays Krug.

And great film from first-timer Wes Craven. Forget about the soft, crappy, desperately frustrating remake with that stupid happy ending.

  • Does anyone know what the song is called?

  • No, that reference to killing live chickens was based on something that happened at an Alice Cooper performance during a rock festival in Toronto in 1969. Somebody brought the chicken there, it got loose, and ended up on the stage during the show. He had no idea that chickens couldn't fly, so he tossed it back thinking it would fly away, but the audience caught it and tore it into pieces. It was a fluke incident, Alice Cooper capitalized on it & projected himself thereafter as a "shock rocker".

  • I found this movie to be pretty funny in some parts because I watching the edited version. I just couldn't stop laughing at the fact that they're chasing a girl through the woods trying to kill her and hippy music was playing in the backround.

Though when they caught her my smile was gone instantly

  • sucks to see u get downrated man..I saw the original and the new one...

the original version I dunno struck a waaaayyy harder cord in me very depressing maybe it's David Hess' music...
