  • How is the intense phase progressing? Still on it, or discontinued?

  • Congratulations. I asume this is a new PR? How much did you increase it since the beginning of the base meso cycle? What do you think now as you have done this brutal phase of Smolov? Will you do the entire program, or is this it for now? Did you make all the workouts? How has it affected your squatting abilities if you look away from only the strength gains?

  • @kraftsportNO Yes this is a PR. It is a 45lb PR @ this BW. It was difficult no lie and more mentally challenging then anything. I'm on the 2nd day of the intense, tho I don't know if I can continue, right quad is hurting. I made all the workouts. I felt more comfortable under the bar and the weight didn't feel that heavy on my back, which really helped when doing these lifts

  • @0bsolete As long as you can squat, then you're all good. Feeling pain and feeling you're about to die is normal on this program. A lot of food and proper rest will often do wonder over a night. A real injury is another matter, and then you may have to discontinue even if you hate it. Well done on the base cycle, excellent progress! And your experiences are excellent to hear. I am very happy for you!

  • Technique looks really solid.  You may have been a touch tentative with the 365 . . . I felt like you had 385 in your if you were aggressive enough.
