  • i always preferred Liptons...ha ha ha

  • I don't understand shit

  • Lyrics?...

  • Is that Professor Snape? I know that's not his real name but

  • @darthjoey13 Alan Rickman.

  • @darthjoey13 Yeap!

  • ouch

  • It's plays like these that make you glad YouTube has a "Change Speed" option. :-)

  • Today the play they showed us in drama was SO stupid.

    1. The play was called play 0_o!

    2. It was ANNOYING!

    3. It gave me headache!

    IT'S TORTURE!!!!

I wanted to jump up, stand on the table and WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FOURTH xD!

  • All three are spectacular, I just wish Minghella hadn't insisted on getting in the way quite so much with endless annoying jump cuts and pointless sound effects, he practically wrecks it with "business" rather than recreating Beckett's play with the three superb actors at his disposal.

  • @dombrewer While I agree that it's a bit distracting, I think it serves it's purpose perfectly. Every version of Play I've ever seen (and it's even mentioned in the Wiki article) has a single spotlight that has to constantly jump and switch it's attention to different speakers as if it's a confused listener trying to piece together the separate stories. I think the jump cuts and the mechanical sounds of "focusing" help recreate that experience far better than just an uncut frontal.

  • @dombrewer Nooooo, the cuts and editing are the point! A huge aspect of the piece is the immovability of its characters, and how they only exist in the "play". On stage, there's an instrusive, obvious spotlight, so for the film adaptation it only make sense to have obvious cuts and edits.

  • what does it mean??

  • it's funny, but i can't take my eyes off juliet stevenson the entire peice. she's so good.

  • crrrrreeeeeepy

  • How did two people dislike this masterpiece? D:

  • We watched this in my Theater Appreciation class after reading the play. I thought this was very deep and actually had me speechless for a few minutes. Absolutely beautiful.

  • I didn't know Severus Snape was cremated.

  • Juliet Stevenson ! :D Wow. :D

  • How..... beautiful

  • He's a genius! (Alan Rickman too)

  • He's a genius!

  • so....they're bodies burned and ashes left in a dark, cold place. but, their souls remained dwelling in this love triangle? is it their costumes symbolic of their pain and dark emotions?

  • 06:46 o_O

"Am I as much as... being seen?"

  • Hell.

  • so shit, my opinion
