Clubs of Man Utd stature do no retire shirts, should we have retired shirts when Charlton, Law, Best retired no. In todays greedy football society there are very few players or teams with Giggs loyalty. Barca have a few but theres very few others. Seriously, I can't believe Giggsy first started playing for Man United 20 years ago. Even back then it didn't take many games for the fans to realize he had something special and was here to stay. 20 years ago. For him to still be playing today AND playing some of the best football of his life, is astounding. Its unheard of for a player to serve a team at this level for 2 decades. He should be Sir Ryan Giggs.
