true artist, great to listen to ,italked to a 17 yr old today and he told me he,s gotta go to a music writing lesson with some one called ray davies oh right i said do you know who that is i then proced to tell him and told him how luckey he was when he come back i asked him did he play some of his old songs no he said he was there to help them to develop there own style,s a gentleman and dident brag about his greatness

as an american, i always thought the kinks were some forgotten british invasion band... come to find out (around the age of let's call it twenty-two or so) they're one of the greatest bands ever... it was, "oh i'll give this something else record a chance cause it's on the cheap at the used disc store"... and then it was, simply, "holy shit"
