  • The most underrated television show of all time....Actors doing what they were born to do..and all we get today are reality shit and the KUNTRASHIAN BAG OF STD'S

  • wow there was a time when a sitcom provided quality entertainment?

  • Opera singer Arroyo bears a striking resemblence to Oprah!

  • Opera singer Arroyo bears a striking resemblemce to Oprah!

  • @daytfl638890 Probably just like anything else good on YouTube, the trolls who work for the copyright owners scoured the Internet for anything that could be construed as infringement, makes their complaint, and the sites remove it. Don't worry, though, persistence always brings it back.

  • I was always struck by how tall Howard Cosell was.

  • The aria in this part is from the first act of Verdi's "Il Trovatore" though it was shortened yet though lady does sing it well I must say

  • The Lexington Avenue Opera Club of Central Park West. That's kind of confusing to a New Yorker. What's even more confusing is the fact that Felix and Oscar lived on Park Avenue... *shrugs*

  • @HYPELANDfarms actually their address changed, there was once on Park avenue and another on Central Park West

  • Where did that piano come from ?

  • Perfect episode in every way!!!!!!!!!!

  • Please load up the episodes with Bobby Riggs, very funny!!

  • Oscar doing his laundry in the sink is hilarious and the little tighty-whities he took out of the oven were too cute! I sure loved this show back in the day. Thx for posting.

  • air date for this episode was 01/16/75

  • i love that hat the lady on the couch is wearing hysterical stuff

  • Don't call Me Howie !!!

  • Thanks for the two Odd Couple episodes with Cosell. I can remember watching them when they first aired in the 70s and they are still funny as hell now as they were back then.

  • While Cosell gracefully ended his career about a decade later, this episode sealed his reputation in its day. Those that already didnt like him, which were many, liked him even less because of this episode.

  • @sanfrancisco89 Sorry, Cosell did not go "Gracefully" and died a very very bitter man. Perhaps it was the death of his wife, but he cut off/tried to destroy everyone he worked with including Al Michaels/Frank Gifford/Dandy Don Meridth etc.. Sad as he was one of the greatest sportscasters in history, but he never did anything "gracefully"!!

  • @usmctanks1 I stand corrected. I am not sure, since this was a while ago, exactly what I was thinking about when I wrote "gracefully"...perhaps I meant without fanfare. I know he had a reputation for being a jerk. Thanks, I am now watching it again.

  • i remember seeing this episode a few years ago. really funny!!

  • The ODD Couple and Sanford and Sons are my favorite sit coms EVER

  • i am cting this out in my acting class i am oscar lool

  • "I don't know why Muhammad Ali talks to you." I love that, and I love this show. I saw Martina Arroyo sing Aida a year or two before this, opposite Franco Corelli. She wasn't a typical guest star on a sitcom, but this was not a typical show.

  • I agree with bmulla1560, I am not a fan of opera, and do not know who she is, but she has a beautiful voice. For a great comedic show to have an opera star on it and have her sing a song of some length...AMAZING! I loved this show when it was on and love it still. Howard Cosell was also great.

  • butifuk black goddess

  • howie

  • Whats sad is that The Odd Couple was the ONLY show on Network TV that gave Oprea Prime Time TV Time. No other show on the Major Networks since have gave Opera stars Prime Time slots in any form.

  • and that's sad why?????

  • That why TV ratings especially the free stations had gone done the tubes. Arroyo was fanastic.

Man the early 1970's had so many great shows. From all in the family, the jeffersons, Mary Tyler Moore and this.

  • @bmulla1560 I am a huge opera fan actually but I must admit that the first time I ever heard "Habanera" from Carmen was on an epidode of the Odd Couple

  • @bmulla1560 true and this in spite of the great opera stars that have come along since then like Pavarotti,Domingo,Carreras,Gheorghiu,Te Kanawa and many others

  • @bmulla1560 felix would be proud of this statement just being made

  • @bmulla1560 What's even sadder is that on the DVD releases of The Odd Couple from a few years back, Paramount DVD did a HORRIBLE editing job and omitted all of the songs sung on the show from Seasons 2-5 because they did not want to pay the publishing rights. So many fans were naturally upset! One of my top shows from my childhood and I can't even own the DVD's because of that utterly ridiculous decision by Paramount.
