I bought one of these on the strength of this vid. A guy at my studio was selling a Satch pedal real cheap so i was looking for a demo when i came across this.
I play strats with stacked humbuckers into a TSL and thought that if this makes a Tele sound huge i'd better get one. Found an ex-demo on line for £80. Its right there on the board...pure motherfucking beef, right between a bixonic and a rotovibe.
we're talking smoking texas blues here! Sounded really great and IMHO ALL overdrive / distortion pedals should be built with a boost / ''more'' footswitch on them...
good stuff. One of the coolest distortions you ever demoed GMD, in my opinion. I like the fact its 2 pedals in one and it costs about the price of 1 single pedal.
well ya i think you want a pedal with various knobs giving you the advantage of finding that right tone but of course some knobs are not needed but still...
Take a look at the TC Electronic Nova Drive - 100% analog overdrive/distortion, but it is programmable. The programming does not interfere with the analog drive circuitry - in fact it expands its possibilities!
another great demo by our hero GMD, this pedal really is loud and rocks my bones..

Nice review..You made me buy one...;-)
But..
Its a great pedal. Only one strange thing. With al de controls for both channels set te same, I can not notice a differance between the channels. '
There should be more midgain on channel 2. As advertised. I'm I deaf or what?
