the pit players, they looked so happy to be there. if you're going to play, try getting into it. especially for a competition. they were just playing the notes on the page, they weren't making music. the ones showed in the beginning, they didn't even look like they knew what they were doing. they kind of looked like trained dogs. 'hit these ones here and here.' they had no technique and you could hear it.

I am sorry this was just not very good, even for middle school. The pit was really good but the drumline was terrible. Not to be critical but if you are going to perform at a contest you should be better than that. COngrats to the pit, sorry drumline but you need to step it up.

well if you wann be like "oh it's a middle school" when i was in middle school we didn't have as nice equipment none of are snares matched in look or sound bass drums tuned badly and two different types of tenors but we still could have kicked this drumlines ass it is really bad technique is horrible chances are if they don't learn traditional and to use there wrists they won't make and decent highschool drumline i have preached my case and your mom still calls me jeff

A lot of people have their drums too low. Maybe raise em a few inches. After a while it'll affect your form. It's ideal to have your arms 45 degrees to the drum. It should be a at about your waist.

come on dont even begin to diss these mini drummers of tommorow. they could own most HS drumlines and front ensambles altough yes there is a lack of technique but they are just getting started in thier musical carrier. So come on admit it they sound superbly out standing and amazingly incomprehentable. besides if you're downing middle school then you've got some serious issues. so go some where else and actually look for a dl that needs you to do you nagging because they could be better. I think it's really great whenever kids do something like this. It's sad that some people have to leave nasty comments or use profanity on a post like this. Not all groups are the same, there's varied amounts of talent, money, instruction and so on. The point is, every kid that's doing this isn't out breaking the law, doing drugs or making themselves teen parents. Kudos to all who post encouraging comments.
