  • Library cards are free. If you didn't know how to handle your finances, why didn't you do some research at the library? What did you study in college? What was your GPA? What internships did you work at while in college? Where did you work part time while in college? What organizations were you a leader in while at college? What were you expecting? College isn't free and it isn't play time for young adults - it's a boatload of work if you do it right...

  • @Bidoing I have a library card, and I use it. So you have no point there.

I was a 3 time Dean's List honor, I had no time for internships, because I was paying to survive and pay for school, I was involved in several groups (Chair of one) which I was so active in that it became another job on top of the two that I worked, and I worked my ass off. I KNOW nothing is free, and you clearly missed the whole point of this video.

  • @MusicalPassion I feel the need to apologize as this comment was made by a roommate on my account and does not accurately reflect my views.

  • @Bidoing Apology accepted. :-)

These comments are for your roommate, then. Tell him or her to stop "freeloading" on your computer. ;-)

  • @Bidoing Also, having a library card doesn't mean a thing to most institutions when they're hiring you. Most of them require a Bachelor's or higher for even administrative positions. As someone who wasn't rich or well off to begin with, getting through college was not easy. I did this entire thing myself without the help of family.

  • @Bidoing Tuition increased every year, grants got smaller, and the scholarships became more competitive (I should know, I applied for several every year). You've added no constructive information to this video post. None.

  • i have a website/blog and while i was doing some research to find out was laws govern the student loan companies. But i have found instead of laws that govern them i came across a site that talks about loop holes and confirmed them with u.s. deportment of education. I have posted some of them that haven't been repealed yet at stopsalliemae.weebly.com i have a petition that will bring tougher regulations to the industry on the site to located on the info page.

  • I'm so glad I didn't go to college, I have zero debt just savings. Have a great paying job and much work experience. Was it worth it for you?

  • @danielmedina630 To some degree it was worth it, because I like to learn and study, I like the college atmosphere and I value a lot of the life/survival skills that I learned, as well as the lasting friendships with like-minded individuals. I also accomplished a lot in and out of class. To see tears of joy from my family as a first-generation grad was very much worth it to me. If I didn't have these loans, I wouldn't be so upset. College can be a very enriching experience minus the hardships.
