  • this bitch is crazy

  • this song gives me shivers, i love it so much!

  • Beautiful :)

  • this song is a miracle. i feel every single verse that she sings here...

especificly this "i know im alone now, i know what it tastes like", Jesus...Is like, when you stop with your little fantasies n illusions for a minute and look around, n realize that there's no one here...Or, when she says "you're talking to her now(...)you r making that face that I like n you'r going in in for the killer kiss..." Just unbelievable. "I need ur money n i need ur love...", I just can't stop singing it.

  • D,: so sad

  • Please stop arguing about divorce. It is making my head go all fuzzy, and then my nose hurts, and now I have blurry vision and an achy nose, and nobody is any closer to deciphering the lyrics.

  • >.<

  • Won't you help a brother out?

  • now im imagining that she is hiding behind his teeth and eating some of the leftover food in between them....

  • @arkaeoperix bc..why would she say "help a BROTHER out" instead of saying "SISTER"? i think he used her badly and is tearing her apart to sell off her good pieces bc he is so greedy in the divorce proceedings..he doesnt even care how he has hurt her.

  • she knows what it tastes like to be alone now....

  • @arkaeoperix i agree with you to a point..i felt that she was being sarcastic tho..not sacrificial. she is still the germ in his mouth, behind his tonsils as he is kissing another girl and seducing another girl so that he can proverbially kill her.....

  • This makes so much sense, and I wish I had heard this song so much sooner. I'm the victim of divorce, but I played the part of the small child who had no say in it whatsoever besides who the hell she wanted to end up living with. I was stuck, with only my older sister and younger brother to keep me company. Each of my siblings ended up with me, living with my mother. My dad ended up giving in to drugs and alchohol, and my mom and I grew stronger while my brother is slowly taking the other side.

  • @Shinymew4u That's where my family is going now.. exactly like that.. I'm so scared.. and hurt. I don't know what else to do /':

  • @theCrazyDshow Do what I'm doing right now. Focus not on the divorce itself, but on keeping the family you have left on its feet and on what you like to do. For me, it's writing and drawing. So to keep my mind on the positive side of things, I write my stories and paint my pictures.

  • @theCrazyDshow

A friend of mine said, a while after her parents got divorced, that it's like getting a new, happier family. You don't have to be officially divorced to be broken.

I wish you all the best.

  • Beautiful, I love stumbling upon music that moves you for the 3 minutes and 43 seconds it's worth.

  • Can someone tell me what this song is about?

  • @victoriaenciso It's about 3 minutes and 43 seconds ; )`

  • @sidDkid87 Thaaaaaks ._.

  • "So wont you help a brother out"

  • This song is so emotional.

I thought she was singing in german because my volume was really low and I saw her on a german cover. Shes a really deep singer and in my mind is the best blues singer in this century.

  • Ever notice how she changes "help a brother out" into the repeated "out" as if she's yelling at someone to get out.

    She's a genius

  • i would learn rusian for you

  • "The food that I'm eating

    Is suddenly tasteless"

most perfect description of love ever

  • Just enjoy the music guys. Kill the arguments accept people have different opinions. Peace.

  • @Leozodiac lol wat. Did you even look at the lyrics? This isn't about being liberated at all. This about being abandoned by someone you love, which happens to everyone at some point unless they're ridiculously lucky; men and women. Does she sound particularly liberated and happy when singing this? No. Women break hearts, men break hearts, and the men and the women write pretty metaphors about it. I'm a guy, and your unprovoked raging anti-feminist comment is simply out of place and awkward.

  • @arkaeoperix I agree that leozodiac's comment is out of place here, but there is nothing awkward about it. It is pretty straightforward. He expressed something he felt was true (and used a 'colourful' language'). If you feel awkward reading it, it is another matter altogether. Besides, what is wrong with being anti-feminist?

  • @strontiumXnitrate It is straight forward and coherent, yes, but due to it being so out of place it is awkward. It doesn't relate to the song at all, but tries to make a tedious connection. In terms of his thoughts, there isn't much wrong with having a negative view on feminism (we're all allowed opinions), but when you start talking angrily about it unprovoked and in a way that can only be construed as malicious your opinion becomes annoying and hard to agree with.

  • @arkaeoperix Well it seems we're more in greement then not. I do not know the original comentator,so I can't guess what pissed him off. I was puzzeld by the lines like 'I need your money, your car and your love'. I cannot see how that relates to the song. Is this an attempt at irony? If you know, please tell me. Also if you are as clueless as I am.

  • @strontiumXnitrate Well in that line she's asking for money, which contrasts with "Just break me to small parts/Let go in small doses/But spare some for spare parts/There might be some good ones/You might make a dollar" where she's seems to be trying to sacrifice herself in some way to get money for him. Maybe it's to highlight who cares more about money in the narrative? I honestly don't know.

  • @arkaeoperix Well, thanks anyway. I guess that's one for the ages.

  • @arkaeoperix Well said.

  • @arkaeoperix amen.

  • 50 likes and I'll sing this to the boy I love.

  • @stophatinlol135 Wait, 50 likes for your comment or 50 likes for the song? If it's the song then I can safely assume you're about to sing THIS song to THAT boy for the fourth time, no?

  • The first time I heard the song I started bawling almost out of nowhere. Until she said "so won't you help a brotha out" then I started laughing almost uncontrollably. This song is so ridiculously emotional in so many ways and that's why I love it.

  • Aren't you just amazing!

  • I. NEED. THIS. ALBUM!! I only have far and begin to hope

  • @Lilyfloss this and songs are just FANTASTIC.

  • @Muzikman127 coool :)) i just ordered this today <3

  • The first time I heard this song, I laughed so hard when she said "so can you help a brotha' out?" XD

That's a compliment, though. She's a wonderful lyricist and a wonderful singer, I'm actually just getting into music recently. I'm glad I made that decision. :)

  • This song strikes me more now than when I was a teenager. It makes me realize I've been through much more than I thought.

  • This song is so beautiful ^^ <3

  • amazing song, and the rest of her albums are amazing

  • I'm pretty sure this is about her move to New York from Moscow. How she was sad because she had to sell her piano over there and she didn't have one in New York, and missed her home.

  • i lick this song

  • @timmyschutz i never knew you could lick a song. strange.

  • 0 dislikes :) And 16 likes. It's a start

  • Oh my god this is beautiful<3 Why does it only have 1,100 views?

  • This is like the only Un-Live version of this song on yourtube. I like the Live version but sometimes I like to listen to the Studio Version also :D

  • @BreannahelloFilms

Yeah almost all of her stuff is WAY better live. Theres just something about her that cannot be captured in studio.

  • @BreannahelloFilms There's something really special attached to this recording.. And I don't hear it live. I've never heard the emotion and tone of her voice in here reproduced anywhere. It's so flawless. I've been looking for a recorded version on youtube for AGES. THANK YOU, UPLOADER. :D

  • you don't need to be divorced to understand.

  • @TheWimpyFruit Agreed...I understand and I'm not divorced ♥♥
