Budgies can not even recognize themselves in mirrors. That's not funny, because they may, the "partner" feed to exhaustion.

Suitable for budgies mirrors are not toys. You need at least a real partner, because there are flock birds!

Birds and alot other animals arent meant to live as a single only having humans they get to see. The mirror is known not to be a good idea. Sorry i have to say this but when i see that it literally breaks my heart. Please do your poor birdie and yourself a favor and get another budgie.

I do not speak English apology, this parrot is beautiful! In my experience, even acquire a certain tone of voice according to its owners, also my talking and their voices were thin as a child, more than Buddy, I've heard others who have thicker voice when men have owners. Greetings: D

My budgies are 7 months old, 1 male 1 female. They would not come out the cage let alone come on my finger. I have tried every thing, even left millets out on the table for the budgies to hop out and fly about, but no luck :( Any advice please??? or shall i not bother and leave them to it sitting in their cage all day like prisoners!! plus, im nerves if they did ever hop out the cage, how the hell do I put them back in the cage if they refuse to go in????

@Theshofumiah1 are they scared of your hand or not? if they are, keep like introducing your hand to them over a couple of days by slowly opening the door and putting your hand near them. gradually you can stroke them, and you may try and get them to come on your finger by pushing gently at their underbelly. if this doesnt work hold a perch or stick near them and they should come onto it... good luck!
