  • you are my hero bro.......I'm got 4 of them right now and there is no way I am going to do what you did......peace

  • The whole chili at once??!! You have some huge hueveos man! I too am sort of a first year chili farmer. My most productive chocolate hab was knocked over and the stem broke at its base. I managed to pick about 3 dozen unripe chilies from the dying plant. I cut it into rings and ate one ring. It does have a very strong citrus flavor (- the acidity of citrus) and flowery aroma. Very exotic flavoring. I can't wait until these babies ripen. Luckily I have one more healthy chocolate hab plant!

  • Great job, man!

I'm growing these this year, and I nearly puke from the heat.

  • @Andalbanon

Yeah, they are pretty intense when you first start eating them, but I think I've gotten used to them since this video. They might be my favorite pepper to use in cooking....amazing salsa.

  • @TheWes0531 I agree...delicious in salsa, and the flavor really comes through. Last night, I had some salsa that a friend made a few days ago. Four peppers did the job.

  • Hmmm.....You smuggled your way into my facebook...and started talking about homerotic stuff...and you now you're mentioning it again here...starting to wonder if your eating all those hot peppers to get the taste out of your mouth.

  • @DeuceDemon

I don't think I'm the first to question your sexual preference...All of your friends and family agree...It's ok "Deuce Demon"...We will accept you with open arms. :)

  • Hey man they are definitely the hottest of the habaneros, I just uploaded a test vid myself of the choc hab, check it out.

I am with you on the pain going up to the ears thing, you will see me say the same thing on my vid! Happy harvesting.......

  • nice job man. chocolate habs are one of the best peppers out there. great for cooking. unusual flavour. they produce a ton of peppers throughout the season. the person i grow with is pissed at me for not growing those for the past 2 years but all these new nuclears have come out so i got to try them all! wait till you try bhut jolokia! that thing is evil! great video though.

  • LMAO You looked like you were about to lose yer cookies there boss.

  • @cigarseeker

    Lol....Yeah....my cookies were burning.

  • Dumb goin in...dumb goin out. the dripping starts at around 2:42 seconds....i really wish you could have captured the subsequent ambulance ride.

  • @DeuceDemon

There was no ambulance ride Mr. "Deuce Demon". Life continued....Now go watch Kiss sing some little songs. Or better yet, go watch some videos of 99% naked, sweaty men roll around on a matt together, or other homoerotic activities that a "Deuce Demon" would enjoy.

  • Nice pepper! Chocolate Habs are definetly HOT. And nice Chaos A.D. shirt :)

  • @SkepticsUniverse2

Thanks! This one came off of a plant that got attacked by small rodents I think....It is still producing quite a large amount of these hot suckers....I am also growing bhut jolokias, thai peppers, orange and red habaneros, jalapenos, and cayennes.

That's one of my favorite shirts! I like to have a few momentos to remind me of my younger days of spending my summers going to deafening heavy metal shows.
