  • Just wondering how long those Turkey legs were cooking for at 225-250 on the WSM?

Cheers from oz - food looks killer!

  • @AndyLoops79 I reckon about 1.5 to 2 hours...Just make sure you have a thermometer and test the internal temp for poultry .....

  • @CookinWithSurfinSapo thanks mate. Inspired me to get some turkey legs and brine them overnight for a 4 hour roast at ~200 and then a quick sear over charcoal while basting... kids loved them and they were not tough at all. Absolutely delicious!!! and cheap too (at least down here in sydney.. around $4.50 a kilo).

  • dude you cook some of the best south texas food!

  • Where did you buy your webber at?

  • @Fielderfarms I got it on the internet when they first came out... I honestly can't remember the place... sorry

  • Cool Recipe! I would like to try it out! Would you happen to know where I can find Tony Chachere's Crea Butter? I'm in L.A I haven't seen it here lol. Thanks for sharing!

  • @ShaunieceCooks I got it at the grocery store and it is a new flavor... Maybe it will be there later... Online ordering is an option too....

  • life is good in south Texas....good job surfinsapo...my regards from Laredo!!!

  • tasty for sure but your red shirt makes it look black... gonna have to try smoking cabbage now...

  • Another great vid from the SurfinSapo! I am gonna try this tommorrow.

  • Just a suggestion for the cabbage...after removing the core, cover them in boiling water for 10-15 min then do what you did. This meal looks GREAT! Huge Booyah to ya! Your vids rock!

  • Mmmmmm...shicken. JB is concerned with Cuts for the moment. I'm not really sure why. What you can also do is cut the meat and that lets the marinade penetrate as well. Slamming a cabbage would be insane. Lettuce works fine. I'm firing up the WSM ... AND ... the grill tomorrow for an epic BBQ. Filming. Life is good.

  • did the cabbage get soft.........how long did the legs take........looks great

  • Wow sappo they look great sapo mmm your the best sapo God bless

  • @habacuk1985 I think to make the skin crispy you have to raise the temperature....

  • You crack me up vecino! Man that looks good! Never thought about smoking cabbage!

  • EVEN ME? that food looks great. what do you use for fuel?

  • @amatureBBQer I used mesquite lump charcoals...

  • Hi. This looks great!
