@ricemouse I don't think of musicians as awesome as Davey, Nigel, and the late,great Dee as merely a backing section. I consider them a kick-ass rock and roll band that Elton fronted. He wouldn't sound the same without them. He didn't sound the same without them before.
Dee was one of the kings of the electric bass .
