@hudsonaable. Its people like you who are afraid of death and haven't ever been close that wouldn't find it funny. It's people like us who have been so close to death, that we could feel it's breath on our shoulders, that laugh at this. If you feel the need to cry, bitch, piss, or moan any further, go see the over paid psychologist your mommy pays to talk to you.
Living in the East Coast, we are not accustom to this. You should not assume that everyone reacted in the same way. We all have different ways to deal with bad situations. You deal with earthquakes, we deal with terrorist attacks. Get over yourselves. What happened to sticking together, coming together in bad situations. It may not have been that dramatic, but some fellow Americans may have been shaken by this.
Oh Do be serious. That's too lame to be funny. My granchildren were terrified. They were near the epicenter. And a terrified child is NOT funny. What goes around comes around, and one day you may find yourselves scared shitless!!
hahaha yall make my day I swear! Some people are bitching cause they got their feelings hurt! buncha hippies I swear! Y'all are the best! Keep em coming!
@hudsonaable If a single building fell because of the little shaker that this video was directed towards i'll never make fun of the overreaction again, but untill i see proof i'm just going to keep laughing at the morons who ran outside in the city during a quake. Lol.
I live in the east coast and tbh, i think people are making a big deal out us making a big deal about it. So we never had felt the Earth shake under us and everyone got a little shook up. I say let us have our momment, when Cali gets hit with flash floods or Texas gets burried under a blizzard then we will let them have their momments.
@EVIL93SAGE Thank you! Everyone keeps blowing up our reactions out of proportion! I'll admit, that was my first earthquake and I was freaking out. But still, the reason why everyone's so freaked out is because earthquakes don't usually happen on the east coast! So what if there was only minimal damage? Some people still could've gotten hurt(I know my friend did) and some people were scared out of their minds. I bet if a blizzard DID happen in Texas, everyone would be all excited about it.
@EVIL93SAGE The reason the earthquake was a big deal yesterday is because YES you're right, we aren't accustomed to getting earthquakes on the east coast which means our buildings arent built to withstand earthquakes..not to mention The Northeast/Mid Atlantic is the most populous part of the US, think the economy is jacked up now...if that earthquake woulda been any higher on the richter scale the economy would cease to exist
You know earthquakes usually kill people and destroy whole cities, you idiots? Ask the people in Haiti, Japan, or Italy, who have lost everything and see if they laugh as you are laughing now...
@NDshotokan I'm not saying you cannot make fun of stuff like this. You can make fun of everything, but not in this way, and from my point of view this video is stupid and disrespectful.... especially considering what just happened in Japan some months ago. It was a total disaster. Anyway they reacted with an amazing dignity, but, because of that, it seemed like "normal" and nobody outside of Japan gave a shit....like you don't give a shit now.
@bluedrumble What happend in Japan was 23000 times as powerful as the "earthquake" that hit the midwest. That little shaker was nothing and the people overreacted WAY too much.
@mynameismatt2010 I do get that. Don't tell me. I'm from Italy and we have those little shakes like every month or so. But I just don't think is good to make fun of people reaction to some tragedy, like that. I'm sorry but I stick to my opinion. This video is not funny at all
@bluedrumble Tragedy? A 5.8 isn't a tragedy, if somthing akin to what happened in Japan happen in the east coast that would be a tragedy, but a 5.8 is litterally less shaky than a ride is a luxury car. Not all earthquakes are tragedies. This video is specifically directed toward the overreaction of the entire east coast, not earthquakes in general.
@mynameismatt2010 I agree. Maybe it depends on what kind of emotions you get on a topic like that.
We had a devastating earthquake just two years ago and some people even made money out of it. There's a trace call where you can hear these people laughing because of the opportunity for them to make money cause of the quake.
This just reminds me that.
Maybe this is the reason why I don't like making fun of these things. Can you understand that?
@bluedrumble I don't really see the correlation, but it's understandable to group some earthquake reactions with others. For me this video is just a joke about how badly the people delt with the situation, people looting and taking advantage of other people is different in my opinion because someone is hurt by it and it's not just for amuzement.
"i thought a bomb was going off" i couldnt stop laughing when people said that just chill out its an 5.8 earthquake ok your house/place of business shakes whatever :P just chill
