Le prove ci sono, e sono dovunque, interiori come esteriori, semi-oggettive come semi-soggettive (perché, se una realtà o convinzione è soggettiva, deve essere sminuita, chiedo; l'amore per una persona non è soggettivo? E, dunque, non ha alcun valore perché non dimostrabile in laboratorio o non 'oggettivo' come la legge di gravitazione universale?) Noi crediamo in ciò che è credibile (come si può credere nell'in-credibile?) SE si fanno i passi necessari per credere e SAPERE, soprattutto.

Io so, perché ho studiato, messo alla prova e visto i risultati, che Joseph Smith (come Thomas S. Monson oggi) è un vero profeta di Dio, e lo so come so di esistere. Dio ne è testimone.

Appunto, hai proclamato la tua 'verità' senza alcuna argomentazione o qualifica, come fosse vera o degna di nota (ridicole affermazioni storiche ...). Non si fa così. Le mie sono soggettive e nate dall'esperienza concreta, le tue? Io so che il Vangelo è vero, l'ho studiato, l'ho messo in pratica e ne vedo i risultati ogni giorno, nella mia vita e in quella altrui. Il Vangelo è un libro etico basato sulla fede individuale ma non un è libro scientifico. Non ho bisogno di studiare ancora dopo di 3 lauree, ne tanto tu mi devi insegnare cos'è un argomentazione valida.. Le tue sono affermazioni assurde dal punto di vista scientifico come le idiozie scritte dal libro di Mormon.

In quanto al tuo accenno non tanto nascosto alla poligamia ... roba vecchia di almeno 121 anni!! Ma al di là di questo, Smith non era uno scienziato e non scrisse libri scientifici ... perché non condanni Gandhi per non aver composto la Divina Commedia, allora? Il Libro di Mormon non è un testo scientifico, ma morale, teologico, spirituale, ed è vero come è vero che la terra ruota intorno al sole. Che non ci siano ancora tutte le prove di tutto ciò che contiene non toglie nulla alla sua verità.

Perché, gli scienziati non partono da ipotesi, che poi cercano di verificare, e non sono tali ipotesi null'altro che idee, convinzioni, assunti soggettivi e personali??? E chi giudica il prossimo, peraltro ingiustamente, come è da considerarsi, alla luce delle parole di Gesù?

Inoltre, anche se credevo di aver già risposto al falso dilemma di Galati: il fulcro della questione è proprio 'Un Vangelo diverso'... Il Vangelo di Gesù Cristo presente nella Bibbia, cosa insegna? Com'è organizzata la vera Chiesa di Gesù Cristo? Quali sono i suoi pilastri, quali le sue dottrine fondamentali?

Io so, per studio, esperienza e per la conferma dello Spirito, che la Chiesa di Gesù Cristo dei Santi degli Ultimi Giorni è la vera Chiesa di Cristo, restaurata da Dio tramite un Suo profeta, Joseph Smith, come ha sempre fatto (Amos 3:7) e che chiunque può avere la stessa testimonianza, mettendo alla prova i suoi insegnamenti e chiedendo a Dio, sinceramente, con fede in Cristo, ed Egli risponderà.

Where are all those existing remains of more than a million men, horses, chariots, swords, shields, on the hill Cumorah? Why won't the Mormon church let the site be excavated? Because there is nothing there!

O non abbiamo noi più bisogno di Lui e della Sua guida continua, forse? O sono stati aboliti i profeti e gli apostoli, contrariamente alla Sua parola?
