  • LMAO at Carlotta's voice after she gets sprayed in the mouth with Phantom juice :b

  • The phantom is a badass

  • The Phantom Rules!

  • This is my school play this year and I'm playing Carlotta!! It's fun but tough, I love this number! :)

  • 6:33 i thought the phantom is also a puppeteer!!

  • lol the midget!!

  • I love how the ballet goes from light and frivilious to sinister and diaphanous as Boquet is strangled. The building underscore is great as well. This is my favourite scene in the movie, it goes from funny to cruel to creepy so well.

  • phantom = epic prankster

  • I love the Phantom's swirly cape thing.

  • 2:35 why the hell can't my voice be that damn loud?!

  • this is my favourite scene out of the entire film.

  • 5:42 Randomly appearing behind someone will always scare them shitless.

6:00 If you end up in that situation - when your opponent can get to you no matter where you go - there's no way out. Especially if your opponent is the Opera Ghost.

6:08 The Opera Ghost is capable of climbing ropes. Left or right - either way you choose, you cannnot win.

6:17 Just because you and the bad guy are on a rope bridge, it doesn't mean he's going to be the one who loses their balance. They may even cheat.

  • bahahaha my school is doing the phantom of the opera and i play the yellow guy

  • is it wrong of me to laugh at 6:34 because of the way Boquet's body is shaking???

  • @Marysol24753 Well if you don't know what's happening then it's understandable but it's because he's having a seizure because he can't breathe; hence the noose and sudden stop didn't kill him at once.

  • You gotta love Carlotta. She's great lol

  • o.o hes a ninja XD love this movie :D

  • I just love Mr Reyer when he goes "You're fired" and he's still conducting while he does it!

  • Why is it that the Phantom looks so amazing when he's ready to kill? e_e

  • @SkittleStorm i was thinking the same thing

  • As an actress, I always love that moment from the actor's point of view when the curtain rises. That perfectly captures the excitement we feel at that moment.

  • wait wats the bottle of red liquid called

  • i wish il muto was a real opera the storyline is very intresting :)

  • 2:38 cue synth piano tones in 1870 XD

  • well guys, he warned ya

  • Hehe, Meg is just so darn cute. XD

  • How sweet would it have been if instead of Il Muto they performed Jesus Christ Superstar

  • 2.40 Phantom's got quite some microphone there

  • @flippofem Actually this trick is called ventriloquism )))

  • @23smell Ah yes, because ventriloquism allows your voice to be as loud as that?

  • @flippofem I think, it's all depends on a place where the Phantom directed a sound. This is an opera hall, here walls are located so that to reflect and strengthen voice or orchestra sounds. I suppose

  • the yellow guy is the best character in the whole movie xD

  • Aiee... 2am and what am I watching? Yeah, hanging people is good for thy sleep. =/

  • I find it slightly disturbing that when I heard Gerard Butler say his line... I got shivers, but not the bad kind. ^^;;

  • Andrew Lloyd-Webber should finnish this opera :D i would watch it.

  • they shouls finnish this opera :D i would watch it

  • Having killed the Boquet., the Phantom has shown to directors that its threats aren't empty and unfounded. He warned that there will be a terrible misfortune if they don't execute its conditions. Here also it was necessary to show by Boquet's death., WHO here the owner.

  • I love how he says his lines in this part, but I wish they hadn't taken out Erik's evil laughs and how he screams "Behold! She is singing to bring down the chandelier!" I mean, I know it doesn't fall until the climax in this movie, but they could've had it shaking as a way of foreshadowing.

  • From 6:26 to 6:33 Phantom's eye's really stand out. If you watch it on a big sceen you can see just how blue they are *sigh* <3 <3 <3 He so hot ( even if he did kill that guy. But the jerk was already a peeping tom, so who cares )

  • why dnt the movie explain why she crokes like a frog.. and hhow Erik did it..m_m

  • DID I NOT INSTRUCT THAT BOX FIVE WAS TO BE KEPT EMPTY?!?

  • Prima Donna messes up- ALL THE DRUNKS GET UP HERE STAT!

  • you own it phantom!

  • i never got this opera (Il Muto) until i saw Phantom at the Majestic Theatre. I think its easier to understand there, but its still hilarious in the movie.

  • ... Somehow that cape makes him even sexier. I don't know what it is, but...

Ah, silly Boquet. I guess this could be a universal message: Don't gossip, be nice to severely emotionally abused social outcasts, and keep your hand at the level of your eyes.

  • I love how Raoul looks completely unintimidated. "Who me?" 2:38. Oh and good job phantoming, everyone can see your feet. It was also more charming when the phantom used his vocal powers to trick Carlotta and then laughed at her with ghostly gusto, not put things in her drinks. That just raises his creep factor. Also if 4:31 raoul looked like that all the time, I doubt he'd get so much flack for his hair. Finally I much prefer the phantom swooping down at you, not clambering up and down ropes.

  • Bo matter what, you always look cool in a cape.

  • Comment removed

  • Joseph Boquet couldn't hold his tongue. Nor keep his hands at the level of his eyes...

  • @IfritsHorn the irony in that is thet he was warning the ballet rats about the phantom's Magical Lasso xD

  • Yellow dude rocks! And...Raoul is adorable when he smiles! : )

  • Okay, it's official...no matter what you are doing...AT ALL...everything looks cooler with a cape on. It's like science or something...

  • @TootieLouLou11 I couldn't agree more 8D

  • i love how the phantom taunts boquet...hilarious!!!!

  • 5:59 - 6:03 was so epic. Phantom has tricks up his sleeve.

And 6:15 - 6:17, he looks amazingly sexy.

  • @LaurLaurtheNEKO I think he's looking sexy all the time :)

  • 5:44 Peek-a-boo!!

  • 2:33 "Didn't I tell you mother fuckers to keep my box empty now im gonna hang that guy who is folling me" XD

  • my favorite part is when the phantom is chasng boquet and he like fakes him out is it wrong that i laugh everytime? o and once again wonderfully epic cape flourishing gerard <3 haha

  • @XblueninjaX1 i don't know why but i've always LOVED that part! I love how his cape trails like a half-second behind but follows his movements- it''s just really, really cool hahaa

  • *mouthed* 'You are fired' LOVE IT XD LOL

and then at the end of 'Think of me'

*mouthed* 'Marvelous' I LOVE THE CONDUCTOR, I LOVE THIS MOVIE <3 <3 <3

    PHANTOM FAN 4EVER

  • I love how the phantom thinks they are stuck up and how he just glides through the ropes like its nothing with a cape on:).

  • 5.00! :-D "Your fired!" :-D

  • i feel quite sorry for those sheep more than anything...

  • Phantom: Did I not instruct, that Box 5 was to be kept empty?

Me: Nope, sorry hun, we didn't get that memo. Now, do you mind we continue with our opera? God, we worked so frikin hard on it so do you wanna scare the people who payed good money to see this opera, or do you wanna sit your ass down and stop with the scary bigass voice?

  • The part that Carlotta plays (before she starts croaking like a toad) calls for class? Someone please explain that to me.

  • Omg! I love how Firmin is saying don't panic when right next to him Andre is panicking! And when he says something about their old business in junk and Andre corrects him and calls it scrap metal! hahaa!

  • @got2ridehorses I know I never got why he corrected people when he said that and he was always so freaking serious when he said it too it made him seem like he secretly enjoyed that job

  • @bossygirl10 He probably did, knowing him, in fact I think that earlier in the movie he complains to Firmin that he didn't know why they left that business.

  • @LexiBandGeek o. If I offended you in any way I truly am sorry!

  • @got2ridehorses oh I see although I don't think it's too funny

  • Great quality on your videos of the phantom of the opera!

  • 4:59 The guy dancing and the mistro goes "You're fired" lol!

  • man can some please explain why the 2 females are kissing I know they aren't actually kissing but still why depict it or is a woman playing a male role? what's going on?

  • @LexiBandGeek Its a joke. The play (within the play) is a comedy.

  • 9 people are croaking toads

  • I think that the countess was supposed to be appealing; in the end one would sympathize with her despite the scrutiny.

  • Oh, Carlotta and the Phantom are saying "toad"?

All this time I thought they were saying "Turd"...

  • @somethinweird06 Me too!

  • 4:06 "get off" XD

  • Comment removed

  • 4:57 XD

  • 1:40 : Hahaha, I just LOVE this part~ Is SO senseless XD

  • does carlotta have tatoos?

  • @GahoolienFlyte208 That's stage makeup. Rich people from the time period of this opera used to wear a whole lot of white makeup and often painted moles on said makeup. Fanciful depictions will turn the 'moles' into shapes like hearts and stars.

At least that's what I think.

  • @GahoolienFlyte208 Yep, they are on her right shoulder. A movie mistake is created with them as she has one less tatoo here then she did in Prima Donna.

  • @smilefumble wierd, someone told me they were stage makeup 'moles' . . i think if they were tatoos they should have coverd them with all that white powder or something.

  • @GahoolienFlyte208 Moles represent good luck in theatre.

  • @Jessicakey93 i have gotten a lot of different answers to my question, but actually fancifully shaped good-luck moles make the most sense. Thank you

  • lol i kept rewinding it to 'Kiss me in my husbands absence'

  • favorite part of all the big disaster

  • Why would they fire the yellow guy? He's the only one who knows how to roll with it and improvise.

  • @MrChenrezi "Perhaps it is you who are the toad";)i love the phantom.!!

  • I just love this song and the costumes and decor of the opera. When I first saw this movie I thought Carlotta said "Your part is silent little turd!"

  • 18th century fashion / music is kinda cool

  • "The old fool is leaving!"

  • 8 people missed when they went to click "like"

  • 8 people missed when they tried to click "like"

  • I personally think that it would be funner to play the page boy rather than the countess.....

  • gotta love the phantom's cape swish :3

  • 4:02

I love how that guy is still immersed in his act even after the curtains close.

    XD

  • 6:23 someone didn't keep their hand at the level of their eyes.

  • 4:57 epic opera dude.

  • 4:57 That guy is epic :'D

  • SCRAP.METAL.

  • Boquet know's something is up....

  • A sitcom story with an opera style?

Why cant we have them at real life XD

  • Comment removed

  • haha, when Boquet is hung, all these people are screaming, but these girls keep twirling!@!

  • *Fat spanish guy taps innocent girls backside*

Andre: See? Now that's EXACTLY the sort of thing the public loves!

    Pure genius.

  • @mbabitt i think the fat dude's name is piangi.

  • Nothing like this happened to us in the junk business?

    Scrap Metal. DX

  • AwOoGa Ah ah AHH

  • This scene reminds me of Prince Poppycock so much!

  • @AngelofMusic101 i love prince poppycock!

  • scrap metal!

  • 1.58 Raoul: 'Yeaah, go Chris, away with these clothes!'

  • 6:54 I love how it when he swishes his cloak all the time >:)

  • 3:31 LOLLLLLLZZ

  • HA! THOSE "MANAGERS" DESERVE THE HUMILIATION! :D!

  • "but kiss me in my OHHH!" haha great place to mess up xD

  • @namelykarlee

    WAIT WAT?

  • @Emimi33able

    exactly! haha

  • Someone didn't keep their hand at the level of their eyes

  • Buquet should have followed Madame Giry's advice and kept his hand at the level of his eyes. XD

  • The Chandalier was supposed to fall here! wtf?!

  • @phantomofhepiano That is later in the movie this is correct. Don't worry.

  • @phantomofhepiano Actually, in the show the chandelier just LOOKS like its going to fall here, but really falls after ALL I ASK OF YOU.

  • they should have made carlota's wig fall off and knock someone to the ground!

  • Comment removed

  • Poor Joe Buquet. He didn't really do anything wrong. KEEP YOUR HAND AT THE LEVEL OF YOUR EYES!

  • @runevi he made fun of Phantom in the beginning of the movie. "shame, shame, shame" on him

  • hahahaha i love how firmin was like nothing like that never happend to us in the junk business. and then andre was like SCRAP METAL! :D

haha that always seems to happen.. i think thats why i love it. :)

  • @jasperwhitlockforeva andre always corects firmin whe it comes to the "junk buissiness" ------ "NO! i told you already: it's SCRAP METAL!!!!!! GET IT RIGHT!!!"

  • "you are fired.."

    love it xD

  • Love the yellow dude!

  • *laughing ominously* BEHOLD!!! SHE IS SINGING TO BRING DOWN THE CHANDELIER!!!!

  • u know b4 when i was just watching this scene from the movie i had no idea what was happening, then i saw a clip of the musical version of this part, and it made so much more sense, for one thing they didn't cut half of it out

  • Piagni's a pervert XD

and also the countess acts like a slut in Il Muto so, the Phantom wants Christine to play a slut while he watches "up close" sick!

  • i wish i could see the whole opera, ll muto!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL. What is Carlotta saying at 3:15??

  • @ppzdsade all is good, maestro

  • @ppzdsade "Ah! Mi scusi tutti, maestro, de capa per favore!"

  • "ga ga, ga ga ga ga gaaaaa" XD

  • Poor Joseph Buquet! Really, Phantom! Killing people is NOT the way to get a girl to like you! Stick to the roses and the totally sexy singing.

And if he had to kill SOMEONE it should've been Carlotta.

  • I LOVE THIS. If I could get a tattoo of something from a movie I would have this all over me.

  • I love how this scene with additional scoring enhanced the original stage production.

  • 1.44 is hilarious!

  • Does anyone know what the heck is happening at 1:42?

    Hahaha!

  • I love how Andre's voice squeaks when he says they are doing the ballet

  • the dancer at 6:06 wearing leg warmers, isn't she? is it a mistake or maybe the director's invention (chaos after Carlotta's voice problems etc.)?

  • Charlotte at 3:29, 3:48 and from 3:49 till 3:53 XD

  • Love how when they're closing the curtain the fancy music starts playing and the guy is spinning across the stage like a lunatic.

that one guy was like, You're fired...

  • Phantom: Did I not instruct that Box 5 was to be kept empty?!

Raoul: Crap. This is Box 5, isn't it...?

  • LOL!

  • omg that made me laugh so much hehehe and yh i hope he gets ass wooped for sitten there lol

  • @fluffypluffy accually he plans to sit in box five... at least in the stage show. Firmin and Andre are like, "Where are you going?" and Raoul says, "To my seat in box five!" The managers are like, "Moron. Probably won't come out alive!"

  • @fluffypluffy That's what I imagined Raoul was thinking.

  • Absolutely adore it

  • love it :D

  • I always liked it on the stage when he goes, "Ladies and Gentleman, the ballet. (nothing happens) NOW."

  • @cplanetfan that is my sentiments exactly. When you really get to know him, you realise there is a reason for murdering, causing trouble, etc.

I am no expert but thats kind of obvious if u know the character and stroy well.

I love the film and the show lol:)

  • do you savour each sensation ? ;)

  • Hahaha I love the phantom's mind! It was extremelly funny to see Carlotta toad's voice. Hahaha If he hadn't killed Buquet the night would have been very amusing really. Why did he do that (kill him, I mean)?

  • well... the phantom may be a murderer... but he's a totally HOT murderer!!! ;3

he isn't even a completely crazy one either,

he is a totally badass romantic killer!!! ♥

  • Why cutting "I suspect my young bride is untrue to me, I shall not leave but shall over there, to observe heeeeeeeeeeeer"? I loved that "her" that Don Atillio does. For those who don't know, Piangi doesn't play Don Atillio in the play. Everybody laughs when he sangs that last word. A shame they cutted/changed some lines in the movie. That applies to "Bravo, Monsieur!" as well.

  • I love the Phantoms lines that say "Did I NOT instruct that Box 5 was to be left empty?" and "A toad, madam? Perhaps it is you who are the toad."

  • Yeah, I think he says these lines better than anyone else. Everyone else shouts them in a pissed-off tone, while GB says it in a "you-asked-for-it," menacing tone

  • @JamieLovesJo Agreed. Gerard Butler says it more ominously and threatening than any of the stage Phantoms

  • @JamieLovesJo is it supposed to be ". . . ARE the toad" or ". . . IS the toad"?

  • i love it when the phomtom switches the bottles that is funny

  • silly fool; you can't run from the phantom of the opera

  • lol 0:29.

"I switched them when you weren't looking! ^^"

  • @Zuyuri

What WAS it in the bottle anyway?
