technically, cigars don't harm you if you smoke them correctly, you are not supposed to inhale the smoke, just keep it in your mouth and exhale slowly.
You don't inhale it into your lungs like you would a ciggarette (sp?). You taste it and enjoy it then exhale the smoke slowly so that it doesn't enter your lungs. Although you would most likely take some into your lungs on accident....
AN article by W.C. Douglas M.D. states that smoking "good cigars" (without artificial fillers etc) is good for us and quotes medical studies to the such. It is an interesting read, google him. p.s. 89 years old..still walking/talking, enjoying life and making money..nice. The man's yellow teeth and skin are no worse than Americans who live in sunny climates and drink coffee/tea etc. Live your life the way you want to, not the way "the establishment" tells you to..enjoy!
It would be nice to see an indepth report on cuban cigar farms, the conditions, the workers attitudes, the average wage, what people do after work hours, how the boss is involved in the tobacco harvesting process.
i don't understand nothing from the reporter, i think she drinked a little too much, why should Don Alejandro mind, he is 89, and we first have to try to become 89. Yellow teeth, bad smell !!
well, with 89 he should have artificial teeth so he just changes them if they are getting yellow, and for the bad smell, that depends who smell's to decide it's bad or not, besides that the cuban woman are smoking too, if not litted then for sure unlitted !!, the reporter should do that too
Typical of the shoddy excuse for 'journalism' that we now see from one of the former heavyweights of British journalism. Get some know-nothing half-wit with a definable accent (preferably 'northern', though anything other than the Queen's English is best) have her make ill-informed, banal comments and there you have it. Sound-bite T.V. No wonder intellects and ratings are both falling. Try doing some research, share some educated opinion, inform us, teach us... but not this; anything but this.
I wanna smoke one of that.

The mosquito reference is that when smoking a cigar, the smoke tends to drive away bugs.
