thanx for sharing this one with us. And it's not "Davy", who's the real "Son of Sam" - it's the ordinary guy. You remember the 70ies: they spitted upon us, beat or club us up and sometimes they even stabbed (as it happend to you) or shot us. Love and respect to you and the remnants of the "immortal" EAD BOYS - one of the greatest Punk 'n' Roll-bands ever.
My favorite Dead Boys song of all time...just something about the arrangements...the darkness...killer Chorus and bass line. - Jenna Talia from Glitter Trash Punk
I first heard this song in 1984. It was played on KROQ in LA when I was visiting a friend. I recorded it with other songs from KROQ and took it back to small town Oregon with me. Needless to say, I no longer have that cassette tape, but I never forgot the song. It was only today, 26 years later, that I have found out who recorded it.
I remember seeing the Dead Boys and Hammer Damage during the Cleveland/Akron punk hey day in the late 70s. Feel so lucky to have these guys many times back then.
@PunkLobo They are poser Dead Boys fans. They only hear their popular song. I hate bitches who only hear one or to songs by a band and act like they like them.

Check out the A&E documentary on the son of sam. Interesting watch for anyone who listens to the dead boys and was not around in the late '70s.

One of my favorite songs. Many people just take these guys by the Sonic reducer classic, but I think they've made many great songs.
