what about the lyrics? can you write it in video's info?

  • my favorite part 1:24 through 1:38^-^

  • I really hope this guy makes it big.

  • @jerrya8 i do too, his voice is amazing.

  • comprendo el amor para estos musica es muy bueno

  • this guy is the new Ian Curtis

  • @youpeka

    Ian who ?

  • @youpeka, the new Ian Curtis? Bollocks. Curtis/Joy Division/New Order were a groundbreaking act. This guy is unashamedly re-hashing the whole 80's Modern Romantic/glam rock without an iota of originality; even the intro to this is uncannily similar to Visage's Fade to Grey. Blatant rip off.

That said, catchy, likeable song, but complete and utter plagiarism.

    Oh well.

  • @cquilty I disagree. He has a unique rasp to his voice and is a quality song writer. His lyrics define his generation and he is quite the poet. There is no one like him in music currently, visually or musically. I mean look at him. I like how he puts his heart into his music and lyrics. There is depth to it.

  • @cquilty1 And the Visage reference is really pushing it. He sings with a low voice but does not sound like Ian Curtis, but his lyrics are quality. When he sings wayohwayohho, that's different, and that's unique to him. I'm 38 and can see that this guy is special. Lady Gaga is a plagarist but not this guy.

  • @johnnyatab You say: "theVisage reference is really pushing it."

Are you for real? Do me a favor. Listen to "Fade to Grey" by Visage, and I dare you to tell me honestly that the intro is not a tremendous rip off.

And you're right. This guy is indeed "special."

Thanks for telling me your age! (????)

  • @cquilty1 I was around for the New Wave era back in the 70's. And the 1st time i heard this song i thought about Ian Curtis and how this guy sound similar. Who cares if he is "re-hashing" 80's New Wave sound, i say bring it back!

  • @MidnightinSavannah Yes, he is re-hashing the whole 80's sound and good luck to him!

It's a great, catchy little pop tune, but to compare him to Joy Division/New Order is akin to comparing a Geo Metro to a Ferrari.

And why would you want to bring any musical genre back? That one foot in the past stance is regressive - you have to move forward and embrace the new. I loved the Sex Pistols in the day, recently played one of their CD's, and thought: "fuck!", that sounds dated.

  • @cquilty1 I can't speak the UK but here in the states they are listening to people like Soulja Boi and Lil Wayne. You talk about crappy music that needs to go away it would be rap.

  • @MidnightinSavannah You've listed two so-called musical acts, and rap represents a fraction of popular music today. Every generation often bemoans the state of music as they get older, but it's important not to wax lyrical about the past and make an effort to seek out good, new music. We all remember our youth fondly if it was a happy one. I am around about your age, and am sending you, via a PM, some new acts I think you may like based on your comments.

Let me know what you think!

  • @MidnightinSavannah Posted the info via a comment on your channel page.

  • I almost tear up when I hear this guy sing. His talent is immense. I am in awe.

  • Piano break is ridiculously catchy

  • muy joto. worst drum-sound ever. esa maricon es valle nada. es el peor en toto el internet. peor que escuchar pintura secar.

  • @anothercountyheard

wtf,tu no sabes nada de estilo,ni mucho menos de buena musica,si no te gusta vete a joder a otra parte!

  • Muy bueno!

  • !!!!!!!!
