I don't know, maybe someone said that before me, but you can press shift and then click and resize the image if you want it to be even. Eyeballing is not always acurate as we would like it to be.
Would the repeat not be a lot easier and quicker and completely accurate using the offset filter? I don't really know myself but I've seen some other tutorials using the offset filter for pattern repeats.
May I please know how to make a swatch after laying out all the designs?
I somehow need to delete the designs outside the 17 x 24" dimension. How can I accurately make my swatch to do the pattern? Thank you very much for your help.
Do you know that there are softwares to capture your screen while your presenting your tutorial? so you don't need any video camera, just a headset (headphone+microphone) Check screenFlow, Jing or Snapz, they all work for Mac and cost less that 100 US$.

Nice work! Check out this shortcut! For creating a guide at the middle of your document Go to View/Guides/Type 50% horizontal and Again for Vertical

I am bound to get this wrong if I have to eyeball it. I was hoping Photoshop would do it for me.
