@HelionLance You can't use UMD on the PS Vita. But you can unlock PSP games on the PS Vita using PSP passport. But you have to pay to unlock it and it only works with a few games and only in Japan.

You can also buy your old PSP games via PSN.

@BoxxyFan I'm not much of a fan for psp or sony at all recently and this trailer is terrible. But I've seen it in action and its actually a very good console, extremely powerful graphics capabilities for its size especially. touch screen, pressure pads on the back, which I might add is something not yet brought into gaming, I can see many possibilities for pressure control rather than just touch control. it does however have a shit battery no built in memory and tiny tiny analogue sticks.

@StxStrafesLockon The Vita has its own games, you can "remote play" some titles that are on a PS3. You don't need a PS3 to play games on the Vita. You can buy cartridges in stores for it or you can download games from the PlayStation Store (which you can access on the Vita itself). @MasterChief5562 The PSP versions were years apart. The 1000 series (the first series of PSP) were out from 2004 - 2007 before they made the 2000 series. The same sort of time difference also occurred with the Nintendo DS. They usually make cosmetic/hardware changes to an already existing system if the sales start to decline. I wouldn't panic too much. I highly doubt that they'd go a whole two series of changes in 4 months haha. Production would take longer than that.

@lonefreeze Wifi is local net, as in between home, work etc. You connect free to your router, but it has limited range. 3G works everywhere in the whole world. But costs. Kinda.

Just got a refund on mine. Cheap plastic. Too big. Too expensive. Graphics and performance no where comparable to a PS3. Where did that even come from? More comparable to my iPhone 4S.
