Reaching this level used to be a pipe dream because I could never get by the Barrel of Doom from Carnival Night. I managed it once or twice by jumping with the bubble shield, but other than that I never got to see this level. Thank God for the Stage Select feature after you beat the game.

As far as ice/cave levels nothing beats the background graphics in Donkey Kong Country. I don't remember the stage name (might have been Slip Slide Ride) but it was the level in a cave with shiny green crystals all around. That was beautiful background work!

I was into SNES rather than Sega but this game (and the other StH games) looks really cool. Very fast paced though. I get dizzy trying to follow everything on screen.

Past: Ocean with small ice shards and rocky creeks with recently fallen snow

Present: Mine into a huge ice cave with ice creeks and ocean with huge icebergs

Bad future: Ice cave and icebergs melting down, the cave is filled with trash and the ocean is dirty!!

Good Future: Crystal silver city into the cave and a clean research center over the ocean!!

@blzdout Actually, Michael Jackson was a straight up composer for the game, he would have had a hand if every track of the game.

nah man i actually heard this too. that sega got him to help with the game and then had to "get rid of" his tracks because of his legal problems and what not. but rumor has it that sega still used some of his stuff on the hush hush, such as this track. there's a video explaining it on youtube somewhere.
