@BenandAdriansWorld its on Board up the house. Just google "Genghis Tron Discography Torrent" There should be one on pirate bay and thats where i got it
You can tell by the consistency that they use a drum machine. That doesn't mean they aren't good though. It just means that they cant find anybody good enough to play their beats haha.
@xxdrummer370xx no it means that they didnt start a band and go with what everyone expects. they like the dynamics they get with just the three of them and they just started with what they had. (sorry i just watched an interview of theirs so thats how i know lol)
Great video! The song is definitely about urbanization. "Roots spread under the mud, drags the steel sprawl out towards the sea" - city's are getting bigger and covering larger areas. "Pack ourselves so tight we can't breathe" - human population are growing larger and we are forced to live dense. "The grid extends its reach" - sooner or later city's will cover all the dry land.
I take it you dont know anything about the neo-tribal/nu-tribal movement(s).
obviously we depend on technology a lot nowadays. no anarchist (in their right mind) would suggest all of a sudden going back to smoke signals and living in huts
@doodyxdaniels so lemme get this straight, you are all for the neo-tribalist/anarcho-primitivst movement but you also like watching videos online on a site controlled by a huge company? sounds a little hypocritical. also, no anarchist would suggest that because thats not what anarchists seek. anarchy is not chaos, it is a form of self government in which everyone takes care of themselves because no one else should speak for them. a primitivist would want to see a reversion of modern tech.
there are townships and rural communities all over the place, including the US, that have been working together for sustainable and peaceful lives without gods, bosses, cops or masters.
do you really think I don't know what anarchism is. to start I'm more of a social anarchist. secondly, staying connected is essential to A) stay informed and B) spread the word.
The days of simply passing around zines is pretty much over. Most people don't even read the newspaper.
Lastly, read my other comments. how effective would it be to revert to the dark ages? really use your brain for a second. Anarchism has many forms and goals to them. I'd say better use of tech.
they program all their own drums, and bass. its really damn hard. almost as hard as playing the instrument because you need to know how it all forms a song. Yeah, its not quite as hard.. but its really close. :P
Can't get enough of this song.

thats one reason I adore these guys, unlike a lot of the electro-influenced "core" bands, theyspeak real shit....
theres lots of new-tribalist/anarcho primitivist messages in their music--right up my alley.
