half an hour? with my type of hair it would take about an hour and a half! my hair is thick and wavy with a tendency to curl! you´re quite lucky that you can style your hair so fast! :)

I have a babyliss one, bought it for 20 euro in a chemist, really recommend it, it came with four section clips too and only needs 6 seconds for a good curl!

i have that curling iron, seriously if you get the babyliss conical wand you'll be seriously impressed, i bought it about 7-8 months ago for around 18 pounds, gives you really tight or really loose curls, best money ive spent on a curling iron and so quick to heat up and style!! always use it on a night out xxx

you need a curling iron without a clamp.trust me, i always thought it is the same - with or without clamp. but its is NOT!! it is a good thing to invest in such a curling iron, because you are done with curling in like 5 minutes. i also have very thick and long hair and i used to section my hair in very small parts and it took me like 1 hour. but now i section them in 4 parts and its done in 5 minutes... try it!!!:)

This hairstyle looks so beautiful! I know what you mean about first day hair not really holding the curl. I find that it really helps if I spray my hair with some sort of texturizing spray, like a salt water spray or something like that, before I curl my hair :)

I love the Babyliss and the Chi. The Chi is good if you're handy (which you obviously are) and want an all-in-one. I find the Babyliss gives curls that are a bit too pretty for everyday - I only use it for night time.

I used to own the same curling iron and I gave it to Godwill so that some poor person can pay a dollar for it and get what it's worth for (it was a gift - ugh!)

I Love Love the babyliss I have. I also have a generic drugstore one that I also like a lot in a different size. I just removed the clamp part (just make sure you check the heat temp and finish on it before buying).

The Babyliss is the curling iron equivalent of the GHD!!
