For the wonder woman cake and the Starry night do you use fondant than like paint it? and if you do do you just use food coloring or need a special paint. Or do you print it with edible ink?
@Goodcharlotterocks13 hi for the starry night cake it was covered in fondant then i hand painted it. i used an edible marker first to sketch out the main elements then painted it in. the wonder woman cake is buttercream with an edible image. thanks!
These are amazing cakes! I'm doing a school project where i chose something new to learn and i did cake decorating. Im in some beginner classes, and im jw for cakes like the starry night, wonder woman, and alot others do you use fondant to cover the cake. Then like paint it with something or do you print out pictures with edible ink?
Love the cakes you made--my absolute favorite is Van Gogh painting of The Starry night, the painting skills just amazes me so much my jaw got disconnected from my face (now I need to get surgery to get it back). I'm also loving the stenciling on the saphire cake--soo neat!
