  • agree with rfoshaug.Collecting Jarre albums, but not this kind of songs.

  • Equinoxe 4 is one of my favourite Jarre tracks, and an excellent example of the nice, soft, warm sounds that synths (especially but not exclusively analog ones) can make if programmed right. Combined with the nice melody, this soundscape is what made it such a classic.

The DJ Quicksilver version completely destroys the style and feel of the original, and makes Equinoxe 4 into a harsh 4-to-the-floor trance song. It is still nice as a trance song, but absoutely HORRIBLE compared to the original.

  • I agree, cincopuntouno...

DJ Quicksilver sounds just like one of these Casio-Comrades.. Just press play on tape. No talento. No self-made sounds or self-made rythms.

  • What a poor, poor, very poor render of a perfectly good song, whoever this DJ Quiksilver is ought to be shot, ruined one of Jarre's best and most famous songs.

  • Pas comprendre, pourquoi une tel violence!!!!

  • Argh! I love Jarre, he can play! Need I say more....?

  • i call it a draw ! love the trance beat when i want a buzz love the original when i want to chill out "the moral is!" where ever your mood takes you. always been a good piece, takes me back

  • gunslinger girl

  • Quicksilver used heavy beats and a very stressful noisy synthesizer... Jarre's original equinoxe has a sweet melody and an excellent mix of sounds...

    Jarre wins!

  • Jean Michel Jarre vs Dj Quicksilver?? the winnner is Jean Michel Jarre he is the master of the shyntesizers yeanhh!!!!

  • Un rien violent vout' truc là

  • What anime did you use?
