This is such a great video! I love this song & you did a great job on the video! :-)
I was going to do one with pics I have of Laura & have the pics & music with the shattering glass effect all the way through it :-) Thanks for this Carlos my Cyber-Buddy :-)
I don't think you ever would. I'm Irish & is someone treats me bad, then I treat them the same! You would never have to worry cause it takes a lot to make me mad :-)
Laura is one of the most talented artists I've ever heard and has one of the best voices as well. She will always be one of my favorite artists and this is coming from a guy.
I think she is showing off a bit of a tan line every time she lifts that right arm of hers. ;) She is such a doll, she is the definition of being naturally sexy!!! Too bad she is gone. :(
I can't believe it's been seven years since Laura was taken from us. Damn, where does time go? I feel so sorry for kids today. They have no one really classy to idolize. As for the sumo wrestler, it's one of the Samoans. Afa I believe and would you believe he's the Rock's (Dwayne Johnson) uncle? How old am I? No need to answer that. I was asking myself that question.
Laura didn't need to dress trashy like the women today do to sell a record. All she needed to do was sing. Just to hear her was enough. What a beautiful voice and what a classy lady. That was sexy enough but add that to her great looks, she was the total package!
SHE IS AMAZINGGG!!!!! i wish to was born in her time omg i love this women even now when she is pass she is 1 of my many favorites of her time simple fabulous women
@thatswhatsup9 OH PUUUULEEEZZEEEEE! Anyone who is a fan of LAURA BRANIGAN knows she died a few years ago of a brain aneurysm, in her sleep. But to quote carlosmiller, it was, ans is, "a terrible loss for all of us fans!"
@Vennegoor10 My thoughts exactly. I wish they recorded more than two songs together, because this and her cover of Hazell Dean's "Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go)" are pretty good.
Song only got to #48 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Couldn't figure out why then, and still can't now. Guess the radio popularity gods had started to turn their backs on her.
I love Laura Branigan and this track, but does anybody know why a sumo wrestler is chasing her around glass shelves? Is he the bad boyfriend subject of the song? It was typical of 1980s videos to include nonesense images, but I'm trying to picture a scenario in which a video producer or director would say, "yeah, sumo wrestler, glass shelves, that's a great idea!" I trust that the professional, intelligent yet modest Ms. Branigan just laughed and did it. :)
Love this classic song from Laura...Produced by Stock/Aitken and Waterman. The album that this comes from 'Touch' had another song produced by them called 'Whatever I Do.' Wish she did an entire album with them during the mid '80's.
i knew laura branigan in fact i had the lucky chance to know her personally i meet her in gomes farias in mexico and she speaks spanish very well she got discover in the music industry kinda late were the disco sound she had was at its ending but that didnt stop her powerfull voice and sound she made alot of duets one with luis miguel call sin hablar meaning with out words. laura knew something was coming in her life but she said i have accoplish my dreams and i leave my songs as memories,
us singer born 3/7/1957 from brewster NY. she was a former backing singer with leonard cohen and also appeared in the tv show chips and the 1984 film mugsy girl. sadly she dead from a brain aneurysm on 26/8/2004 R.I.P
She would've been 55 this year.

Hmm. Same ending as Lonnie Gordon's 'Happening All Over Again" with the umbrella. Same video producer, perhaps?

@capralean I believe that sumo wrestler is actually a pro wrestler of somoan descent that wrestled for the WWF in the 1980s.
