  • what are your thoughts on croosfit and olympic style weight lifts? i feel like doing those have done a lot for strength

  • I did the pull up with the plate wrapped around my waist and my wrist snapped in half

  • i need to build up streath i cant do that i can barly do 2 push ups

  • well said !

  • Nice work man. I appreciate your level of talent and information. The double with the 2 pood kb was legit. Way to shoot your head through the window on the presses. After doing CrossFit for the last 4 years I am getting burnt on the super big scene, and back into the small DIY scene. You rock.

  • @sargon12368 thanks for the kind words! I did the commercial gyms through school and just had enough. IT was time to take the training wheels off and get after it. I'm glad to hear you are doing the same.

  • those are some big heavy balls u got there

  • I prefer working out alone. It lets me focus on lifting.

  • im 16 and 6.3" 275 pounds...ive been working out for a year and went from a max of 145 to now im hitting 315...im stuck and would like to know if u know any workouts that will get me unstuck...i have access to a full gym with a good partner...so if u have any ideas i would appreciate it if u got back to me...and props on the video it gave me a few ideas

  • @umomiekiller15 close grip and skull chrushers

  • Great videos!!! You can always depend on yourself when it comes to training! Thats my motto. Train Hard Fight Easy!

  • Is this Jack Swagger?

  • ugh,... I totally want my own little underground gym. You gotta great workout there man

  • @88Crawfordj Thanks!

  • i like the ronnie james dio blaring in the background.

  • those walking renegade rows reminds me or ROBOCOP walking. it's like ur a robo iguana or something great job though

  • is that workout room in your basement? it looks pretty good for a home gym!

  • @Jankovelli Thanks! It was up until two weeks ago. I had to move the gym to a bigger facility. I already miss it (a little!)

  • Love those walking Renegade Rows - will try them out tomorrow at the gym

  • great stuff man!

  • well done sir, wonderful to see a trainer/gym owner working his ass off still. too many of em are out of shape these days. love the videos, keep em coming!

  • Great work Joe - love the hand walks at the end!!!

  • Nice Vid J :)

  • Gettin' it done by myself! Not that I wouldn't like a solid partner....

  • thanks mate really appreciated

  • Nice session Joe! I might have to make a special trip to the new compound so you boys will have some records to shoot for! Awesome video!

  • whats the point of the log press?

  • @leafsfan9917 Torso stability, full body compound lift to get it from the floor, neutral grip for the shoulders and elbows and does a great job of improving pressing power.

  • couldent you do the same thing with barbells doing military presses? I am not trying to argue with you just curious

  • Sure, no problem. For most lifters the military press is a fine alternative and similar movement. However, they aren't 100% the same. Loading the log on the lap and "cleaning" uses the muscles differently. Also the neutral grip effects which muscles are activated. Is it "better" than a military press? Depends on your goals. Both are great exercises.

  • see I am trying to get my max bench up, I go to my highschools gym, we dont have a log press, we do have a deadlift/shrugs rack I like that a lot, its real difficult, not related but figured I would mention that, couldent be that difficult to make either if you have some basic welding skills

  • @jhashey how would the log press be better than the military press goal wise? and with the military press i don't have a rack so i deadlift the weight, then "clean" the barbell to start my presses. so what results would i get from doing my presses with a neutral grip? and im assuming i could do them with dumbells if i dont have a log like urs? good job on the vids BRUGH keep them coming.

  • i been working out alone for like 2 years

  • awesome vid. dude, keep it going

  • @madman720ap Thanks!

  • I like the workout brother! 98% of the time I workout alone. It sucks but most don't want to workout with me. Keep up the good work!
