cute/beautiful snake buit how the heck did it get bitten by a dog... poor snake, but it looks like it is in the right hands now:) did u guys get it from a rescue animal shelter or somthin one of my sis friends got ther snake ther
cool video. you should watch even the calmest snakes head around little kids they can be unpredictable. goofola you cant train a snake they arent very smart. the more you handle them the more they get used to it
Thats not technically true, a burm that size can easily be handled by one person, about the worst it could do is if bite you on the face, other than that there pretty much harmless. As an adult or 12ft+ as long as you handle with atleast one other person present you should be fine. I handle our 13ft male and 16ft female all the time and i'm only 15.
A constricting snake can't actually kill you straight away by constricting you, even the largest anaconda would take about 3-5 min so as long as you habe the appropiate number of "helpers" you should be able to get out of any situation. If you do get coiled up just get somebody to grab the tail, bend it slightly over the snakes back and start uncoiling it, on a large snake its best to have 1 person per 6ft of snake.
if u dont know how to train a snake dont by a frigen reticulated python the largest snake in the world all you do is simply handle them as much as possible
ok thanks for your advice, I dont cuddle the snake for your information.
Today my young green python had its first meal and I was releived to see that he had an appetite, I was just scared that he would not eat, I had to feed him with a little gecko lezard like what we have everywhere in our homes here in the Philippines, he does not like mice.
How do you train your snakes to be friendly, I have 3 snakes, one young gtp, very friendly, one young reticulated very nasty, and a 8foot burmese python quite moody but did not really show signs of attacks like the reticulated. The burmese just wants to hide rather than striking, the reitculated would almost go after me to bite me !!!
In the local market (I am in the philippines) they told me to tape its nose for a week to train him, is that doing any good ?
You can't train snakes to be friendly. They'd rather hide than be handled, they do tolerate handling, but they don't like it. They have no emotions, so get a dog if you wanna cuddle something.
And taping it's nose is just dumb, that'll stress him and make him even more prone to nail your hand/arm.
erinmelissa1230 your a dumb ass she said that they got her because she was bit by a dog, she got her from someone that apparently didnt keep her away from a dog
I'm surpised that most of those kids were more curious and interested in the snake instead of being scared or grossed out. And when they pet it they said "soft", not slimmy! Smart kids.
