  • He sounds like Chef Ming Tsai on East Meets West on Channel 28.

  • "But you're not paying for this, so I shouldn't apologize" hahaha

  • I haven't used this in my work, but I still want to know it, b/c the school I used to go to started teaching it to people in 7th grade.

They wouldn't LET me take Math after 10th grade. I was told I have no ability to learn it and they wouldn't even try me.

It was all a load of baloney though, b/c I've gotten help here where they said I'd never succeed.

  • Thank you so much for your service. Can we get our hands on that module(s)?

  • I lol'd at 5:20. Keep at these videos, Prof. Khan, they truly are wonderful.

  • WHY do you have to make my life so friggin' easy? *shakes fist maniacally* KHAAAAAAAAAAANNNNN. . . . . KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN

  • u kinda sound like cris angel...anyways thanks this helped a lot! :)

  • can you answer this khan? thanks....

    1) y= x3 at the point (3, 27)

    2) y=x2 at the point (0.5, 0.25)

  • I wonder if Kahn realizes how many people love him for this?

  • goodmorning

  • this is 1 of the best ways to learn.

  • @bugattivsbmw u mean the best way ;)

  • Sal Khan is the intelligent descendent of Genghis Khan... Bravo!

  • I'm sorry I think he is making this more difficult than it really is. Where are the points we are supppossed to looke at! And why does he have to introduce 3/2 when trying to show a simple overview??

  • Why is the run to the left for a positive number????

  • I love you.

  • @chek0753

Why is the run for X into the negative (to the let) when it's a positive number?

  • best scene at 3:00. Oh wow, how did that happen ^^ strange

  • @Waititbecomesgigger uhh thanks :)

  • Where is the game located on the website, thanks.

  • This is officially, the best way to introduce someone to calculus/algebra. I only wish I had teachers like you when I was growing up :)

  • @DevastacaoTotal yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa those were the times

  • thann u sooooooooooo much ur wondererfullllll!!!!!!!

  • how do you solve for y=mx+b?

  • y=mx+b is the equation of a line, where m is the gradient of the line(or the slope) and b is the y-intercept

  • @megaelliott no, y=mx+c

  • @YesLloyd94 Both formulae are used actually, it depends what schooling you have. Anyway, "m" and "c" or "b" can be replaced with any variable letter, it's just a name. I could say y=Awesome(x) + ScottPilgrim, where Awesome is the gradient, and ScottPilgrim is the y-intercept, and it would still be valid.

  • @megaelliott its just how i was taught it, but i suppose you could use, y=i am cool + you're a cunt

  • @YesLloyd94 Well, you haven't specified using x, which is an already defined variable (the position along the x-axis), so you couldn't really use that formula there.

  • @megaelliott i dont really care, ive got my A*'s

  • @YesLloyd94 It's not all about the exam marks, it's about being able to conceptualise it too. Plus, it always helps to understand the reasons behind something.

  • @megaelliott its ALL about marks nowadays, companys love seeing quite a few A*'s and seeing a degree, do you have a degree or an A* ?

  • @YesLloyd94 Well, I'm still in early schooling, but I've taken 3 GCSEs so far and scored A* in all of them.

  • @megaelliott BUT can you grate cheese on your abs?.. i think not..

  • @YesLloyd94 actually y=mx+b

  • i have have my mid term tomorrow this will help tons!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Same here! I have my mid-terms tomorrow i bet this will help!!!

  • ur sites is ROCKINGG!!! thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; )

  • Thank you so much, your visual presentations are so refreshing. They have helped me understand the processes and apply them. I think you just saved my gpa!!

  • i would like to see a review that connects every video, just to help those who are skimming through videos. thanks.

  • Much thanks for the shedding the light of intuition on this heretofore impenetrable, enigmatic equation. I really wish you were teaching my Math 075 course!

  • well i dont know about you but now i LOVE math... i hated sitting in those god awful chairs in class

  • i HATE math

  • thanks for da homework help bruh

  • i wish we could listen to this in are sleep bc then are mind would be more illing to take it in ya know

  • Thanks for helping me with my homework. Not my idea of interesting, but it's helpful.
