  • i find this quite boring. yet i can definitely think of other things that would be worse to be listening to right now.

  • One thing you have to say for Radiohead (aside from that they're amazing) is that they make no effort to keep their music from being available for free on the Internet - love these guys!

  • Frederic Chopin is that you ? ...

  • If you want to compare this song to anything Coldplay has ever done go and listen to Easy To Please. Its very, very similar. Chris Martin loves Radiohead so can't see what all the bitchin between both fans is about ? Both bands are great, and as for Muse, they are just a shitty version of Radiohead. I used to love Origin Of Symmetry but after listening to OK Computer I can hear that Muse just ripped it off, and did it no justice whatsoever :)

  • radiohead is not only the head of the radio but they are also ahead of the radio not only here and now but always and forever amen

  • Absolutely incredible! Such feeling and intensity!

  • replay button is being overused by me... such a good song

  • I used to think Muse was better than this band. Then I started listening to Radiohead. Couldn't have been more amiss.

  • @IaxobusJames Same story here, bro.

  • @IaxobusJames I pity the fool who tought that Muse was better than Radiohead

  • josh klinghoffers cover is hot

  • So much feeling. If i had a voice like this <3

  • Radiohead, a band that brings me to tears of either sadness or joy.

  • @norcoridermat: Just shut up Mat. :D

  • :D SCREAMO FTW!

  • @norcoridermat Yeah baby

  • One of my favs from ok computer.

  • My favorite Radiohead song, which by transitive property makes it my favorite song, ever.

  • I used to think radiohead were from the future for creating songs like this. They're always going to be ahead of their time

  • @Museisneat1234 Mylo Xyloto came out and it sounds a bit like a mediocre OK Computer, but the fact that OK Computer came out 14 years ago is amazing

  • @slowblood99 how could you even compare this to FUCKIN Mylo Xyloto this is one of best albums ever dare i say probably the best ever and that new coldplay album is pure shit.

  • @1SEPERATOR jesus fuck, its my opinion..no need to go postal on somebody over an opinion. sorry, it was a bit uneducated, I finally listened to mylo xyloto and it blows cock. happy youtube dwarf? be happy, because you won the fucking game of the internet toughguy. God, I can't even express my opinion anymore.

  • @slowblood99 You can express your opinion, just not on a Radiohead video. Some Radiohead fans can't stand it when someone compares Radiohead with any band like Coldplay or Muse.

  • @tubrutolity Ikr? They're like animals, they have to be in the environment that they are always in..

If some one invades it, they'll go piranha on their asses.

  • @slowblood99 im 14 years of age, and im sorry for making you feel small but im a massive radiohead fan and when people like you compare coldplay and muse to them it just annoys me a little because radiohead invented this sound and i think its sad that some bands cant find their own so they copy bands like radiohead.

dont get me wrong Coldplay's Blue Room Ep is awesome but also very similar to pablo honey and the bends.

but i cant stand muse they are absolute crud.

  • @1SEPERATOR The Blue Room is definatley influenced by some Radiohead ! But this old day thing of "Coldplay copied Radiohead, Ohhhhh they are bad, Coldplay is for fags" Its been said to absolute death. Yes Coldplay was influenced by Radiohead but if you do some research you'll see that Coldplay's main influence and quoting Chris Martin "Travis was the reason Coldplay started" But yes, Muse are shit. Origin Of Symmetry is just a OKC rip off, and it was a crap rip off !!!

  • @pikeflyfisherman Origin of Symmetry would be in my top5 best albums ever. Muse arent shit. They are one of the good sounding bands in the last 20 years with radiohead and mars volta.

  • @marketanarchist2011 I used to think that until I listened to OK Computer, then realised Muse were the biggest rip off's of the century. OOS is a decent album with some nice guitar work but its hardly even a patch on OKC !

  • @pikeflyfisherman Well, my top would be:

    1. Ok Computer

    2. Dark Side of the Moon

    3. Origin of Symmetry

    4. Are you experienced?

    5. Keep The Faith

OoS has alot of original things on it. It may be inspired by radiohead, but also by rachmaninoff, ratm, bach, nine inch nails and bell canto vocal techniques.

  • @marketanarchist2011

    1. A Rush Of Blood To The Head

    2. OK Computer

    3. X&Y

    4. Urban Hymns

    5. The Bends

Thats my top 5 all time (so far) !

  • @slowblood99 I love Coldplay, but come on man, Mylo Xyloto sounds absolutely nothing like Ok Computer. Mylo Xyloto is Coldplay's worst album as well.

  • @arindeardorff Yea, you're right. Coldplay's early EPs and Parachutes were great and such a amazing stuff but Mylo Xyloto is just a jumble.

  • Father ted anyone???

  • Too much for me sometimes. And that part that starts at 2:19 where you hear like a crowd lightly screaming creeps me the fuck out every time.

  • father ted

  • 6 people were heard by their fathers :)

  • Wish 3:10 lasted like.. 20 minutes longer..

  • Goosebumps.

  • Radiohead songs need a "Fucking love" button.

  • @GeekStinkBreath21 I know I always feel like a dick clicking that I only like there songs

  • Great music poem!

  • Along with the outro to "Let Down", the transition from chorus to 2nd verse of this song symbolises everything I love about Radiohead. And music. And life.

  • @drjoshuab11 I do believe you meant to say clay aiken looks like Thom.

  • I encountered this song through "Romeo and Juliet", where it ledt me speechless and breathless. I did some reseach and found out that Thom Yorke wrote this masterpiece for Romeo and Juliet, because their story touched him enormously. I can't believe how brilliant he is, to be able to put a whole story in ine song.

Even if Radiohead is not my favourite band, it's clear that once you have listened to all of their songs you perception of music will be toally diffenrent. Radiohead is matchless.

  • @ChionaBrightside "Romeo and Juliet" with Leo DiCaprio et al, was a very well done remake of a classic (that, according to new theories, was done by someone that was NOT William Shakespeare). It also gave me a reason to watch the movie, as I still think Leo was taking it in the behind while eating Gilbert's grapes (though The Departed made a man of him..)

  • No se para que 6 pendejos se meten a escuchar musica que no conocen... favor de no criticar lo que no conocen pendejos (6)????? Excelente cancion... parte madres!!!

  • thome yorke looks like clay aiken. you know its true

  • Oh man..when those drums kick in...fucking beautiful.

  • sublime!!merci

  • Gotta listen to Her 'till morning comes.

  • @thekkl I'm just such a fangirl when it comes RH. But I honestly don't take anything back. JustGotHacked deserves a slap in the face.

  • Exit Music followed by Let Down has to be the most powerful combination in Album track history. I use to find myself in tears as the first chords of Karma Police started playing.

  • @JustGotHacked For your sake, I hope you grow a brain. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

  • @talk45 Says the one who is unwilling to accept those with different musical opinions.

Look, I know hating on Justin Bieber is what's hip with today's kids, but if you were really as intelligent as I'm sure you'd like to appear you'd probably just stop giving a shit about Justin Bieber or what JustGotHacked has to say about Radiohead and just listen to the music you like. It's not that hard, and right now you look like you're trying to hard.

  • HORRIBLE.

  • @JustGotHacked I had to look at your profile. Justin Bieber? Yeah, you lose all the credibility in the world.

  • @talk45 and what has justin bieber got to do with this?

  • @JustGotHacked He has everything to do with this. Go back to listening to your shitfest.

  • @talk45 lol his music is better than this shit. what the fuck is he saying anyways? -.-

  • Never even said cite..lol siting, but not cite. Also you spelled spelt wrong..quadruple boom!!

  • fuck you

  • radiohead makes reallly really good boring music

  • @dudewtfpasswind im not dreading it. your right, its coming for everyone. but im not gonna glorify it. it is the END of experience. ill evade it as well as i can. if there was any medical procedure to live for centuries, i'd hit it. sure i'd watch people come and go, but thats allready part of life :]

  • @dudewtfpasswind

    Nigga wat

  • @dudewtfpasswind

More of the same... obviously I struck a [chord]

  • @dudewtfpasswind

You sound like a faggot. Pseudo-intellectualism is synonymous with being pretentious.

  • @dudewtfpasswind arent you clever. why would i NOT be afraid of death? death is the end. i dont want that. damn right im afraid of death. you can pretend all you like, if someone swung a blade at you, you'd move away just as well as i would.

  • @dudewtfpasswind that makes no sense. death is loss of life. its a one-time event. its like saying "my dinner no longer being on my plate - is eternal". thats my point!

it is the _ultimate_ "grass is greener" scam, because nobody can report back how awesome it is to be dead, so people just assume its totally rad.

also, it never ever fails, whenever i try to advertise for life, smartasses come along "death is awesome.", and my obvious question to them is, then why the hell arent you dead yet?

  • As depressed as I was while listening to this track, when that gritty bass comes in I feel instantly better... endorphines run up and down my spine.

  • But this song was not made for that movie..lol

  • @LTG22 yes it was

  • @BoiSkizzy No, it was not. It was used in the movie, Radio head did not make this exclusive for the movie. Sorry.

  • @LTG22 "This was written for the 1996 movie Romeo and Juliet starring Leonardo Di Caprio. While Radiohead was on tour with Alanis Morissette, Baz Luhrmann, who directed the movie, sent them a tape of the last part of the film and asked them to write some music for the closing credits (hence the name "exit music"). The band liked what they saw and came up with this."

    Boom.

  • @BoiSkizzy Can you site a source? Boom.

  • @LTG22 not only is it in the wikipedia article, but it is also in the songfacts . org description

    double BOOM

  • @BoiSkizzy That's not siting a source, that's you writing a source. Triple Boom!

  • @LTG22 You spelt "cite" wrong!

    Quadruple boom!

  • @LTG22 Yet nothing from Radiohead themselves....Triple Boom.

  • was this used in a movie?

  • people need to wake up. death isnt some relaxing beach. death isnt "relaxation" or "liberation"

relaxation is on your couch. liberation is happening down in egypt and libya right now. beaches are on the coast, you can go there by bus or train.

enjoyment and freedom is found in life.

    anyway, love this song..

  • @zegh8578 Beg to differ with you, you could not be more wrong. But, to each his own, good luck in your lonely death.

  • For you, my dear, let's escape together ... I can't take all the matter all by myself. Love me as much as I love you. Don't let me apart.

  • Im going to play this as I kill myself

  • @dan42577

You gotta take it easy bud

  • @dan42577

Good song choice. Wouldve went with How this Ends myself, but this works too. Good luck buddy

  • @dan42577 Same here.

  • @dan42577 please don't kill yourself x

  • how many "best" songs can radiohead have? :)

  • @blah3189 7 albums worth.... Depending on what you think of Pablo Honey ;)

  • @mitchymagoo215

    y'know

    i like pablo honey

    sure, it's not

    "ground-breaking"

but i think it's pretty good

  • @blah3189 As do I. That's why I said depending. I love OK computer, The bends, Kid A, In rainbows and the rest of the catalog but I'm not gonna deny the first track I heard was creep and the fact that I still think some of the other on that album are great. ;)

  • @mitchymagoo215

    stop whispering?

    ripcord?

    OH, BUOY! :D

  • @blah3189 The smiley face was the clincher for top comment.

  • @blah3189 everyone has their own best-radiohead-song. that makes them priceless...

  • ah!! this song is....thanks....oh wow I love radiohead, Thom Yorke is...♥ :)

  • ah!! this song is....thanks....oh wow I love radiohead, Thom Yorke is...♥ :)

  • You guys want another Muse/Radiohead similarity?

The very end of soaked by Muse (new unreleased song) and the very end of Faust Arp

  • @003ralf003caster Muse are annoying from beginning to end ... all songs look the same with guitars and raspy voice and shallow lyrics.

  • make me wanna cry... but not enough to

  • best constructed ablumn of all time by anyone

  • beautiful

  • Wake from your sleep

  • We hope that you choke, that you choke....

Only Radiohead can pull such a lyric off.

  • a song to keep a swarm...;)

  • AND NOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW WE ARE OOOOONNNNNNNNEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

    so amazing

  • 2:50

    Plug in baby anyone?

  • @BeTheDeathOfMe

    Muse<Radiohead

    IMO.

  • @AwesomeBuddy12

Yeah. I agree totaly, but we can't ignore the similarities.

  • @BeTheDeathOfMe

So you're saying Muse stole from Radiohead.

  • @AwesomeBuddy12

    Yeah, basicaly.

Stole is a bit of a harsh word, but muse have definitley taken alot of their style from radiohead.

  • @BeTheDeathOfMe yeah, muse´s cave song is a lot like radiohead

  • @aa428507 Their whole first album is.... and the second one to. Then they bacame their own. Both bands are great in my opinion.

  • @Hypact1v3 yeah, muse´s sunburn & shrinking universe are a lot like this.

  • @AwesomeBuddy12 Damn straight!

  • this song never ceases to amaze me: lyrically, musically, mentally..

  • Depressing...but so amazing at the same time....can't get much better than this.

  • 9,999th view

  • One of the best albums ever made

  • woah. it's eerie

  • This is my favorite Radiohead song. I love how it builds up towards the end. Breathtaking.

  • I believe this song was made for the modern version of Romeo and Juliet, if not it was definitely used in that song. But if you know anything about Shakespearean Tragedy you can see that this song really matches that sort of build up, the structure that exists in that type of plot-line. I just came to this realization when you mentioned it, and this song has always been one of my Radiohead favorites and I find that relation, at least for me, to Shakespearean Tragedies very interesting : P

  • @weaponsofmasturbatio yeah it was made for the exit credits :)

  • @weaponsofmasturbatio exactly what i thought. sounded to me like a boy that is running away with his grilfriend.

  • awesome song

  • I'm speechless. Amazing song. One of my personal ''escape time'' song.

  • @dondempezar I agree 100%; I might even venture to say that this is my favorite Radiohead song, thought paranoid android and down is the new up give it close contention.

  • Thank you for posting this - very important piece of music, incredibly done. Great to have it available here.
