If you want to compare this song to anything Coldplay has ever done go and listen to Easy To Please. Its very, very similar. Chris Martin loves Radiohead so can't see what all the bitchin between both fans is about ? Both bands are great, and as for Muse, they are just a shitty version of Radiohead. I used to love Origin Of Symmetry but after listening to OK Computer I can hear that Muse just ripped it off, and did it no justice whatsoever :)

I encountered this song through "Romeo and Juliet", where it ledt me speechless and breathless. I did some reseach and found out that Thom Yorke wrote this masterpiece for Romeo and Juliet, because their story touched him enormously. I can't believe how brilliant he is, to be able to put a whole story in ine song.

Even if Radiohead is not my favourite band, it's clear that once you have listened to all of their songs you perception of music will be toally diffenrent. Radiohead is matchless.

I believe this song was made for the modern version of Romeo and Juliet, if not it was definitely used in that song. But if you know anything about Shakespearean Tragedy you can see that this song really matches that sort of build up, the structure that exists in that type of plot-line. I just came to this realization when you mentioned it, and this song has always been one of my Radiohead favorites and I find that relation, at least for me, to Shakespearean Tragedies very interesting : P
