Check out the UESP to get a self-managing version of Daggerfall you can just install and play... it pre-customizes its own DOSbox for maximum effectiveness!

@MrDanielJignasu Well the atmosphere is reasonably similar to that of Oblivion, but the area which the game covers is larger (parts of both the Hammerfell and High Rock provinces) and is more varied than that of Cyrodiil. High Rock is much like Cyrodiil, but Hammerfell has alot of desert and has a more North African style. Also, I found a setup package that makes installing the game to newer systems alot easier, it's called DaggerfallSetup and includes the full game, patches and such.

@MrDanielJignasu Bethesda released the full game for free on the Elder Scrolls website a while back, however it requires a DOS emulator such as DOSBox to run and is quite complicated to setup, I got it running a while ago but tried installing it again recently and can't remember how I did it, lol.

This was beautifully done. The music is so beautiful. But what caught me off guard were the images. I was shocked to see this demo after such a long time. Where did you find that demo? I've been searching for years and still haven't found it, anywhere.

I love this song! It's a shame that they left it out of the final game - I've been thinking that it would be a good theme for DaggerXL, a sort of "we're back" feeling for all DF players.
