Actually, music back in the 90's revolved more around the creativity of the artists instead of the current media trend. This is the main reason you don't see too many guitars or drums in popular music today, all you need is a computerized beat and catchy phrase relevant to something popular at the time. Music is getting worse, since the music industry is no longer promoted by the bands who are creative and original, we now have simple cash producing and unoriginal gimmicks.

Guys, I was about 18 yrs old and in high school when this was popular back in 1999. and TRUST me this music was considered "not good" compared to the 80's at the time. It was comparable to Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber music at the time. Some ppl loved it and others thought music like this was going down hill.
