  • I must have blinked during the herp part of this 30 minute 2 part bore.Suggestion EDIT!

  • @tjwalters61 There are plenty of other channels out there. I suggest you go check them out if you have nothing constructive to say.

  • There has been a troll discussing my comments made in my video made in SC where I equate illegal Mexicans as an "Invasive species". The troll said I was a racist bigot, pulling the old and very worn old "race card" Here's my official position.

  • @viperkeeper Anyone from anywhere is welcome in the USA as long as they do it LEGALLY. He is throwing the "race card" since he cannot win the argument on the basic principals that illegals, in this

  • @viperkeeper case, Mexicans are breaking the law in several ways by entering the country without the proper documents.

  • @viperkeeper They are cheating the system by not paying taxes (not possible without a valid SSN) and obtaining services reserved for Americans or legal residents of the USA....

  • @viperkeeper We the taxpayers are stuck with their children in our school system filling classrooms over burdening the system.

  • @viperkeeper The costs for Hospitals for Illegals is immense since they must be treated by law even though they cannot pay.

  • @viperkeeper My opinion is strictly based on the rule of law and the overall economic burden to the taxpaying public, including immigrants who are here legally to

  • I would giggle so ward if he left his car to see something and a red neck came out of the bush and jacked his car LOL

  • VIPERKEEPER ASS CAAAAM! never seen it from this angle

btw about global warming: don't know, (not really a believer myself) but we should stop the majority of things we do to nature anyway. I'm not sure releasing that much CO2 is doing any good to the balance of things.

  • do you ever look under logs or anything

  • what did that women think while you were talking to the camera

  • @funnyguy12361 I don't know, didn't ask, don't care

  • Al just a bit of history for folks, don't know people really care! I thought it to be pretty amazing how our great country has grown up! Anyway Charleston SC, was once in 1790 the fourth largest city in the US behind New York, Philedaphia, and Boston with about 16,000 people! Today it is the 218 city by population! I thought people might enjoy knowing that! Al, do you ever take any snakes you find home with you? I'm from the South and havn't ever seen that many ticks, wow that was alot!

  • Eww ticks are the worst, when I was younger I went to my grandma's house a lot and came back home with 6 on my head one day.

  • VK, you're videos are thoroughly entertaining and your knowledge on reptiles is amazing. Why not go work for Animal Planet or National Geographic? Your videos and commentary view snakes from a more unique perspective.

  • @trainmaster5000 Thanks but they nano-manage the whole process, thats Bull shit

  • Don't keep snakes from the wild it's like taking a person and throwing them in a cell

  • @TheRatedRsuperstar23 Yeah I kind of agree. Captive bred is where it's at.

  • in the intro was that a bothrops asper?

  • @Voodoovince41 B. atrox

  • I hate it when people leave trash behind. Whenever I go hunting or hiking, we take a trash bag and fill it up with the trash we pick up.

  • is there part 3 4 5 etc?

  • @TheIcedude545 What you see is what you get ;-)

  • @viperkeeper then i hope i see more parts :3

  • @TheIcedude545 Nope...that's all folks!

  • Haha yeah, you're always surrounded by venomous pogo sticks and you end up flying off with a tornado. Damn funny irony haha. Wouldn't be so funny if it actually happened but you know. Funny as hell in theory xD

You got me starting to wonder where the saying" ticked off" really comes from =P

  • i feel like im watching the blair witch project

  • Great vid! : D The finds were cool!

  • Hi, that was fun. first time i went snake sniffing was here with you. I think at the beginning of part 1 you said it was 80 degrees and then all the sudden it was hail....i saw your temp in the care it said 66 did it drop that fast or did i misunderstand. Had fun thanks

  • @heartdoggies Thunderstorms usually have a cold front behind it, so yes that was the outside temperature drop.

  • nice video, as always. keep it up man. you rock!!

  • what was the first snake you ever got

  • @shaddycats Dekay's snake

  • @viperkeeper Wuts taht?

  • i do believe in global warming, and am surprised that you don't.

  • lol i love how the cotton mouth just looks up at u like what the heck do you want.

  • Is that the Croatan National Forest?

  • @JOM123456 No, I don't disclose where I go.

  • cottonmouth would be a nice snake to add to your collection

  • @TheNimerb Why take a snake out of the wild when CBB specimens are always available

  • Hi viperkeeper! I know you don't answer many PM's that is why I'm going to post here (if you let me :) ) If you want don't approve the comment and answer me with PM. I'm interested in the venom of snakes how toxic it is what are the effects from different species. Do you know a good book I can get that has this information?

    P.S. Sorry for my English!

  • UGH, makes me itch just seeing the ticks!

  • Al,

In English class, we watched "An Inconvenient Truth", Al Gore's global warming documentary. We then had to do a research paper on why global warming is fact, not fiction. You stated that you don't believe in global warming. With all of the data supporting it, what do you think disproves it or proves that is is not true? (I just wanted someone's point of view from the other side).

    By the way, nice cottonmouth!

    Thanks,

    Kevin

  • @TheBigCheezeIt - Hey there. I think you might like to watch interviews on Michael Crichton and his views on Global Warming. He also wrote a ''fiction'' book that deals with global warming, but there is also about 15 pages of works cited where he read/got his information from and put into the book. (book was called State of Fear if you like to read at all!) - Oh and those interviews of him are on youtube.

  • @TheBigCheezeIt You have mail and lots of reading to do. All the "data" is manufactured or manipulated. If the government wanted to make you believe the moon was made out of 'green cheese' this is how they would go about it. All the scientist are paid by grants supported by the pro global warming people, so if they say there is no global warming, they do not get anymore grants,no grants= no job. that's it in a nutshell.

  • @viperkeeper Hang on, but the majority of those are US scientists. There are many many independant researchers working with their own primary data around the world and most of them realise that there is global warming. I believe there is both 'global warming' and natural cycles. We are entering a naturally warm cycle, BUT there have never been any natural cylces WITH the added warmth from this size of human population - that is the problem. We are hugely exacerbating the natural warming.

    Ben

  • @benwaddams No, evidence exsists that man is the cause of any climate chang because of gas emissions. Certainly man does contrubite by removing green and replacing it with concrete & asphalt. CO2 is not the major greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, it's water vapor. Don't give me the "majority" scientist bull crap. many of those guys make their living by churning out exactly what the government wants, or they'll lose their funding and job.

  • @viperkeeper I did not say anything about gases. I simply said human beings are exacerbating the problem. The problem is that when you mention 'Global Warming' most people instantly think 'CO2, Greenhouse gases, Ozone depletion' but ofcourse, as you know there are a whole host of other factors to think about and many of those ARE directly increasing the temperature of the planet to worrying levels IN PARTNERSHIP WITH a natural cycle. I've seen and measured this in local areas myself. Thnx. Ben

  • @viperkeeper Agreed completely!!!!

  • Al what kind of boots would you reccomend for field herping?

  • you are a great guy,im glad you like to go out and find herps,i hate wen breeders dont go outside ,they just stay in side and worry about diseases they could track in,well great vid!5*****

  • Nice jeans.

  • I love your herping videos :) I hope that there will be more.

  • Neat video. Always nice to see herps in their natural environment.

  • Nice! Definately make more herping videos if you have the time!

  • It's really cool that you dont cut that much, so it feels as if i was walking with you, that's how herping videos should be! ;)

  • Great vid!! Looks like a fun spot to visit too. Except for the dang ticks, which I hate too!

  • @TimmyGal I fixed them...I disturbed a fire ant nest and dropped them in....
