mk1 main thing is close kombat indeed, many dont see that and trying too avoid close battle since it demands quite high reflexes/skills

Wsup Soul? I wanted to ask that to you and Ded! I also think that Rev 3.0 is somewhat more balanced! I think that the tier is completely different! Scorp is a beast there with so many awesome Juggles!!

of course its different, kano sucks in r3 because of the blocked roll possibilites. but what some people dont understand is that the final version is 5.0 why? because it fixes the moon gravity, the blocked juggle opportunities and etc.

i know the differences and gravity stuff PownDed_ (jk) but what I wanted to hear was feedback from top players what they liked the most. Example: Just ban infs on a tourney and the game is excelent! has better combo opportunities than 5.0 and sure Kano > sucks. But also does Raiden blocked torpedo and so. All chars have better combos in 3.0 and I just wanted to ask...

rev. 5 is best for Vs matches as well! in my experience it is faster since gravity is repaired as ded said wich makes game faster too play, and less abuse of kombos.. rev 5 has more limit too kombos wich makes it more quality in gameplay and more chalenging. I had best games on rev 5 as well

you cant ban infinites?! if its in the game you have to use it. if you watch beta revisions why dont you play proto, there are better combo possibilities there?

No no you re not getting my point. If that were so then Noob Saibot would be totally acceptable on MKT or Rain. There is some stuff that can be soft banned for not ruin the game. If so then for example Samurai Shodown 4 would be crap (wich is a very GOOD and competitive game but the infs are banned worlwide). I know that 5.0 is the standard and current revision and dont want to discourage ppl to not play it. As I said I personally prefer 5.0 but just said that 3.0 have better combos.

ofcourse the game is not rich in variety of moves and etc,combos are real good thing,unfortunally most of the mk player fled to rev5 because of the big combos....so cutted combos in rev5...i guess they increase their chance to win...in rev3 this chance is reduced...so then it comes to the decision to play rev3 or not(they could eat solid combos) or to evade them in rev5....

mk1 is not about combos and it was never be. the main focus on the game is the close combat, you know that soultaker.
