People in my country - India, use coconut oil all the time for skin, in West I have seen not many know that it is good for skin. The oil can also be applied to hair (leave Overnight) and helps to moisture hair nicely. It does get very greasy though so apply when not going out.

Thank you Dr., for your helpful tips. As I age, my skin gets DRIER & Drier in Winter. Fish oil is WONDERFUL! I didn't know that it will help with my dry skin, also. I will continue to take it :)

I'm subscribing this info was so helpful...I live in Canada so dry skin is a problem for most..as is our "great free medicare" which makes getting or seeing a doctor for advice trying on the patience...lol get it "patients" lol.

Thank you youtube Dr.I have dry skin esp on my head and i think you solved the mystery why.I ware a hat all the time and it must exorb all the oils i have on my forehead and top of my head.Ill try the fish oil !

great info. It just started to get really cold here in NY and my skin was the dryest i had ever seen it. Its not so much anymore but I think a change in soap and eating more fish might have helped in my case. This reminds me to take my cod liver oil pills.
