  • @RochelleHansonMusic lol, heck yeah ... I really like to use the stuff...

  • @1mits1 I just washed my hair and then twisted with the liquid lanolin :) It's great... I really like it so far! you only need a tiny little bit!! I think it may become a staple.... we shall see ;)

  • @RochelleHansonMusic So tell me, Where did you get your lanolin.

  • @1mits1 I got it at the health food store :) they had it right there with the other Now brand oils... it was the first time i had ever noticed it though... not sure if they just brought it in for winter cause it's so heavy or what, but something inside just told me it would be good, so i bought two bottles lol. Glad I did.

  • love your research and philosophy. my mom used lanolin when we were little in her homemade "grease". way to go old school.

  • Love you.

Bought lanolin after this video at the pharmacy.

My edges and ends have stopped breaking and finally seeing my edges reaching new lenghts O.o

    Than you

  • you look like a darker skin Nicky Minaj ...random i know thanks for the vid im lookin into using lanolin and dont be ashamed of doing your research haha

  • lanolin is made from sheep's wool

    we have hair like sheep

white people have hair like dogs

  • LOL LANOLIN ISNT NEW...ITS THOUSANDS OF YEARS OLD

  • @ronmatthews yep-per! correct..

  • @1mits1 see i researched this too cuss sum ppl say its bad cus its thick like mineral oil and petroleum jelly..however i was told that family members who used this oil had hair down their back and its natural and comes from animals so its natural unlike the other 2 oils..so im going to use it for a whole yr and c wat it does to my hair b/c wat works for some may nt work for others and it doesnt hurt to experiment and so far so gd

  • Great research! Thanks for making this video :)

  • Lanolin is not new! It's in the Bible! Anyway, people tried to get rid of it because it was in everything...a little bit of a marketing ploy. Those that know, know it's fabulous! Thanks for doing this video. I own Merino Skin Care USA and we have been selling Lanolin skin cream from New Zealand for over 20 years here. Love to send you a sample! Take good care, Judy

  • @judyreber i dont doubt u, but where in the bible is lanolin found?

  • Lanolin is actually very old skool. Not a new product. Esp. good for nursing mothers, dry hair ends etc. Just not "new" at all. If you buy the one in the pharmacy, mix it with a natural oil cuz it's very sticky by itself. Thanks for the vid.

  • Good looking out, I use Miracle Gro's Beeswax with Lanolin when I get my own long hair box braided. My hair is semi -fine and it works great holding the braids. after my hair is braided I do a quick wet to give the braids body so they will lay down flat. People always compliment me on my hair and want to know who does my braids, is it all mine-(LOL)no hair added and what do I use to get them to stay /hold. I tell them I uses Lanolin w/beeswax. Thank U 4 getting the word out on LANOLIN.

  • @song5537 Okay, that's what I'm talking about. Thanks for watching....

  • you remind me of Chilli

  • @torinakins really wow....

  • thanks for the info!!!

  • It's excellent on eczema, totally out performs and prescribed cream

  • I doubt lanolin penetrates the hair. I know that coconut oil and palm oil do but not lanolin. Lanolin has been on the market a long time ago. I know that it is the closest to the skin sebum witch sounds good...but them if our own sebum is not doing the job then....

  • I heard it was bad for hair too and I don't think it is new. i've seen it being used in hair and skin products for decades. I am I crazy on this. thanks!

  • Lov the video.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for the good research

  • no wonder it smells bad...it still smells bad.

  • I actually thought lanolin was something to avoid.. thx for doing your research. I need to do mine hehe ^.^ x

  • @ssikmoi88 I had never heard of it until someone ask for a video. Then I started seeing it in all of these products. So I had to do some hardcore research on it.

  • @rwill117 waterproof? If thats really d case, That means it can't be water soluble...hmmm..the research Mitsbrevealed says it's a humectant (scratching my head)..mits? Do I smell a part two?

  • @Somuchpotential2010 Part two lol no way I'm not like Kimmytube. I'm to lazy.... Hey, If they don't believe just look it up yourself. I rather people do that anyways.

  • YAY!!! u didn't 4get about my req...thanx teach...lol The only thing I need 2 research is which products/ companies carry the best forms of lanolin...ur d best

  • @Somuchpotential2010 Of course my gurl... I got you. lol

  • @mstanish1 Hey Mstanish. How much would u say lanolin elongates your twists? A little? A lot? Also, where can I buy 100% pure lanolin? Thanks

  • Hey Mits! As usual, you're right on point. Here are a few questions. Have u ever used lanolin on your hair? If so, how do u think it compares to shea butter? Also, where can I buy 100% pure lanolin?

  • @maximuslyricus I haven't got any but after researching it. I'm so going to try it. DAx has 100% pure lanolin. Should be ablr to get it at your local black beauty supply store.

  • Thanks Girl! Please keep the info coming!

  • @CorbinC7M your welcome

  • Your videos are always on point and informative! Thanks for the info :)

  • @Chinique430 your welcome but don't just believe me research it

  • Thanks for this, this was very informative.

  • @alliehazelangel your welcome

  • I have pure lanolin not in the grease form. I kinda like it. But the consistency is waxy sticky and it reminds me of honey. But it provides hold for my hair, makes it shiny, soft and elongates my twists.

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Could you buy Lanolin, in it's grease form or would I have to buy products that contains Lanolin?

  • @MizzFab Dax has100% lanolin

  • Great job!!! I used this when I was breastfeeding to prevent cracking of the nipple. Great stuff :)

  • @marquila2007 wow lanolin is pretty amazing

  • thank u!!

  • @MrsCupcakeEmpress your welcome

  • wow thanks for the information!! I'm going to make sure i get some and see if it works for my hair

  • Lanolin isn't new...it waterproofs

  • @rwill117 Yes, your right Lanolin has been around for many years now old sailors used It on there ships and metal works to prevent rusting. The use of lanolin dates back as far as 1,600 B.C., when ancient Greek warriors used this substance to cover their tents. Im talking about in the hair and skin products. Its becomming more and more popular. Oh have you tried lanolin.... what do you think about it .

  • @1mits1 LOL, I didn't know all that history...years ago I wanted to find out if there was a product with it that would prevent reversion on my flat ironed newgrowth between relaxers...only products I cud find w/ it was Dax & other hair greases, I wanted to get pure lanolin to create my own concoction but never found it...now I'm natural again & will just use silicon serums like Sabino when I decide to flat iron

  • Good information!!!!!!!!!!! thank you for your videos. May God bless you and keep you and give you peace. Keep up the good work.

  • @naturally4us thanks
